Proved a scale tool for measurements
I work in engineering and am always using an engineer's scale or architects scale. I use goodnotes primarily to keep all of my project plans organized in one location. I would be helpful to have a scale tool that would allow me to measure the plans according to the scale provided on the plans.

This would be extremely useful and seems like it would go great with the new ruler tool. I am engineer and design construction documents. This would be extremely usefully for any one in the architecture and engineering field.

This is extremely important to me. I receive and install to-scale drawings and need to accurately measure the distance between objects. Without this feature, I am forced to still print to paper and use a scale rule.
I would rather fully track progress and measure all in GoodNotes, but without a scale measuring tool I can't.
Imported PDFs already contain size information, it shouldn't be too hard to say "ok, this page is in 1'=1/2" scale" and then be able to take accurate measurements. -

This has a very large potential because it could
Calculate dimensions from pdf drawings, scanned documents, or even photos
Calculate values from graphs, charts etc
Great idea

this would be super useful, a partial solution would be to be able to view drawings at fixed scale, 100%, 200%, etc which would allow using a physical scale on the tablet.
