When will GoodNotes have the capability to add subfolders within the subcategories? I have been using the app religiously for work for the last year, and the categories and subcategories are now getting to be too cluttered; I may have to change to another app that provides this feature. Does anyone have any recommendations? Please fix this! Also would love the ability to search for a term within a document across all categories and not just within the document itself. Is that possible?

Hmm, I just noticed that this idea is listed as "COMPLETED". What am I missing? There is no sub-folder option in GoodNotes, afaik. Someone from Goodnotes, please elaborate as to why this ticket was closed and marked as completed?

I have tried many note taking apps, many. Goodnotes would be perfect if it had the sub-folder organization option. Its great in so many other respects, but the more I use it, the more cluttered my notebooks become, so its hard to navigate between them. The only reason I would ever migrate to NP is the lack of subfolders in GN... And there will be a day where the clutter will become unbearable...

It's pretty ridiculous that a sophisticated note taking app like this one doesn't allow you to create folders...great app otherwise but please fix this

Agree. There needs to be an ability to make a folder within a folder. I need to be able to organize articles for specific assignments within a course folder. I can't just keep making more and more folders! It is getting too many. I am also looking into other similar apps that allow more organization.

I agree with all the proposal and sugestions made here. Dropbox sync is needed, keeping he original folder structure. Other competitive products have this function. Thanks.

The subfolder option is extremely important to me as well. I'm a student and once I start the new semester I'd like to be able to file away this semester's documents. It's also helpful to be able to have subfolders within each course. Looking into alternative apps now, since this seems to be taking GoodNotes a really long time....

This is an urgent necessity!
When will it be on? -

Been waiting for subfolders and tags for months. Please add this feature in the next update; it is much more requested than stuff like the ability to change menu locations etc. Thanks.

I am at the point where I feel like I may have to change to another app without this feature. It's great to see it is planned but really need for it to come through.

Why hasn't this been incorporated yet?? Without the ability to quickly navigate and find the content, as excellent as everything else is the app is rendered almost useless. Especially for using this to take notes with for college, subfolders are critical. It's almost enough to drop Goodnotes in favor of another one for its organizational ability alone...Please add this feature soon!

As a student with tons folders I can't manage them very well without sub folder. Please add this capability.
Ps: being able to search across folders would be nice too

Just got on to suggest folders within folders for GoodNotes. I see it's been suggested. I agree that this is one of the only things that keeps me using other apps alongside this one. We need folders within folders in GoodNotes.

Crucial when your content grows. I use it mainly for meetings, and it would make my life easier
