Import Multiple Files in Goodnotes 5
In goodnotes 4 you could import multiple files at once, whether they be templates or new PDF notebooks. PLEASE bring this to goodnotes 5!
The ability to import multiple documents has been added in the update 5.3.10. Thanks for your patience and support.

I am not able to import from GoogleDrive multiple folders (and their subfolders ) at once. I am only able to import multiple files, but not folders. It makes the full process very painful and there should be a better and quicker way to do it. Is there any other way?

Importing multiple documents the current way is ridiculous. Having to physically tap each document to highlight it (sometimes upwards of 100 documents), while holding the first, and then pressing cancel... who thought this was a good idea? Change it, please! Just add the same button we have in Goodnotes 4 to "Select All". And stop making the file names lower case! Same issue ug! Please fix GoodNotes 5 ASAP.

I was disappointed to find that this wasn't already a feature. I regularly work with files where I am having to import 100+ documents. Goodnotes makes this incredibly difficult without having a multiple import feature. I have to click on each file to download it. What used to be a job of a few seconds, now takes several minutes, especially with all imports reverting to lower case letters (so annoying!).

This is critical functionality to work as simple as GoodNotes 4. I import student assignments to e-ink. Drag and drop like in GoodNotes 5 does not work. I will continue to use GoodNotes 4 until this is working again.

We can all agree that this is some elementary bs design at work here right? Why in the world would they get rid of importing multiple files at once? I’m a new user to GoodNotes and this may be a deal breaker for me. Even the first initial step of getting myself set up using this app... I have to import each and every file individually? Come on.

I agree. The workaround for adding multiple documents (documented in the link below) is the most bizarre and error-prone way to do this that I have ever seen. I had been using GoodNotes 4 to import dozens of documents at a time, and it worked fine. Please, please, please return a simple way to do this, such as was done in GoodNotes 4.
Here's the workaround they provide: https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000115175-How-to-import-documents-in-GoodNotes-5

This is a deal-breaker/deal-maker for me. Back to Notability until this is restored.

Has this still not been fixed yet? I cannot believe we have to import each PDF individually -- sometimes I have to import hundreds of PDFs... and one at a time ugh

Please re-enable multiple-select in the import process. I've been using GoodNotes to markup assignments, and in GoodNotes 4 it was so simple to "select all" and import 30 papers to mark. Please re-enable that feature in GoodNotes 5. Using the drag-n-drop work around is more complicated and error prone with importing dozens of documents. Thanks.

This worked in goodnotes 4, but doesn't seem to work in the new version.

To me, this is a deal breaker, forcing me back to the old version. Once this is updated, I'll go back to the new.

100% agree!! For those of us who work with multiple PDF's this feature has to be restored. But on a positive note I'm glad Goodnotes FINALLY remembers the "from" location so at least you don't have to drill down multiple folder levels to find the next file to import. Keep that!!

Well, Duuuuuhhhh!
Is it really going to be the 5th major iteration of your program before you can import multiple files at once?
The developers of Goodnotes are really dull witted! Please, where is the competition?

Importing multiple files at once - when I go to my I cloud drive can I import multiple PDF files at once? Thus far I have had to click on each file individuallly and it is tiresome.
