"POST-IT TABS"
One of the major issues in relation to using a digital file, compared to a traditional paper file is that in a paper file you can attach "post-its" to relevant pages which you can then refer to when you are using that file. This is an essential tool for lawyers, for example. So that, if you are referring to a bundle of files, you can have them in front of you where you can see the protruding tabs and refer to them immediately. The visualisation of the tabs – allows for easy access to the relevant page.

Infinite Canvas
The biggest pro of digital note taking is the boundaries of traditional one and paper that it breaks.
Studies have shown that learning efficiency and understanding of a subject is increased by higher order learning and mind mapping. For these techniques, an infinite canvas is needed.It would be highly appreciated if this function would be added.

Native Samsung S Pen Eraser support
Other Android apps allow use of the physical eraser button of the stylus, but this does not work so far with S-Pen on Galaxy Tab. Selection eraser from the software menu is not very convenient and subpar to other notes apps.

Zoom percentage
Add Zoom Percentage, please. The zoom affects the way we write and therefore if we'd like to keep our notes consistent in size and neatness. Adding a zoom percentage display would allow us to know what zoom size we prefer and always set our zoom percentages to that number.

Tape
Tape…Notability just published an update to allow something like white out tape that can be tapped to make transparent and then tapped again to ”reapply.”
Teaching implications of such a tool are obvious and awesome.
Please give us such a feature.

Allow for sub-bullet points!
Allow indentation with bullet points on the "Bulleted List" on the new text feature on Goodnotes 5, not just on the first line of bullet points. Similar to how you would take notes using bullet points in Microsoft, Google, or Pages. PLEASE!

Bookmark toolbar
Pls return the bookmark icon in the toolbar where it was previously with the red mark indicator if selected. Because of the new update i can‘t directly see which notes are more important while learning my courses. Without having to use other complicated features.

Password Protect Folder
I would love to be able to password protect folders that need to be kept private. I keep all my private information in folders so even if only the folders could be password or passcode protected it would be very helpful

Polish / Czech / Ukrainian / Swedish / Danish / Norwegian Languages Handwritting Recognition
It has been a long time since the publication of the first request (2017). Still (2023) all of the listed languages: ( Polish / Czech / Ukrainian / Swedish / Danish / Norwegian ) do not have handwriting recognition support. We pay for the full version of the app and in return we don't get one of the most crucial features.
Other apps that are alternatives to GoodNotes, such as Nebo or Notabillity offer this features.

Paint Bucket Color Fill
Similar to MS paint it would be useful to have a paint bucket tool that would fill a color inside the lines of a shape. Most of the functionality is already added with the shape fill color option, but for drawings that dont use it there is no efficient way to fill the space.

Notes for everyone
Create a database within goodnotes to see the Notes of any student in the world, from any field or profession, I would like to share my notes with everyone and also see their notes, to learn from others and learn new things Briefly and simply. for example, if I am at a medical school and I want to learn what I will learn in the coming years, or even if I am a medical student and want to learn some new things in architecture. It would be an excellent place to gain knowledge about any subject in a simple way.

Improve functionality of Flashcards
Hello, I’ve been a user of Goodnotes for some years by now. I love the new feature of flashcards added to Goodnotes. Even so, I have some suggestions for the improvement.
Currently, the option of smart learning doesn’t have any curve of progress or way to review the progress made with the cards. In Anki there is the option for limiting the amount of cards reviewed in each study session. Having both options, the curve of progress from the decks and the possibility to choose only a specified amount of cards for review, and getting the cards less learned by…28 votes -
Lock
Need to be able to lock individual items. In planners sometimes the layout itself is a sticker. Need to lock that so I can move the stickers above without the bottom one moving.

More languages recognised would be amazing, especially the nordic languages as Danish and Norwegian, as they have special characters
It would be really nice if the Nordic languages, such as Danish and Norwegian was recognised, especially when doing handwriting to text.
