  1. FIX KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

    Please fix “keyboard shorcuts” while in text mode. Goodnotes for some weird reason only makes you select a letter to switch between tools instead of “ command and the letter. So when trying to type on a external keyboard i cant type a P,E,H,S,L,I,C,or T with out it completely switching tools and existing out of typing mode. I feel like this is pretty big oversite and is unfortunately the only reason i have to us notability over good notes when typing at times. I can understand if this is a mac feature but as far as an ipad goes its…

  2. Show guide lines in document

    One feature I'm missing is that you can insert guides or a grid into an existing document (in my case the lecture notes). That way you could take notes neatly and straight and when you're done just hide the guides again. That would be great!

  3. Look at power point - and add most of the features found with regard to

    Layers/shapes/form background/PASSWORD PROTECTION.

    I could go on, buy GN 5 is still quite awesome. Just add the password protection and be done with that silliness already!

    Oh, and sync with iCal / add alarm features for the TO DO list please!

  4. Access image crop quicker, e.g. via button

    One thing I would love to see is a possibility for inserted images to easily go to crop mode without going to the menu. Maybe a dedicated button could be added like the button for deleting the image and resizing it.

  5. Tabs in notebooks with pages

    Please add notebooks with rename able tabs and ability to add subpages under the tabs like a table of contents

  6. Add more bullets and pictures like the word

    this will facilitate in college studies. please add this function as soon as possible as it is a very useful tool for college. Thanks

  7. Different search highlight colors

    Enable different search highlight colors. I tend to use orange highlighter (best for multiple layers for emphasis) and the search highlighter gets drowned out with it.

  8. Larger space for flashcard answer area

    So that we can write more notes. This is especially useful when we need to link some graph and tables to the flashcard.

  10. Export PDF with N-up function (multi-pages per sheet)

    Having an option to export notebooks and PDF in N-up layout. Can choose page orientation and how many pages per sheet (2,4,6,8 etc.).

  11. Add a Linial to mess some stuff on pages

    We Need a lineal function to mess some kind of stuff on our pages. Would be really nice for Students in Math to have the exact measure data.

  13. Colored favorites

    As a student I have it iced myself flagging slides/pages for many reasons. It would be nice to have the ability to change the color of the flags. For example, so I can quickly see what items I need to review and what items I have favorited for reference.

  15. Word and PDF Editing

    Being able to move and edit documents within the app will greatly enhance the functionality and productivity.

    The Lasso Tool should be able to edit imported documents like it is with notes. This is also applicable to the text box function.

    Currently, editing imported documents in GoodNotes feels like using Snapchat. We should be able to move and edit the text as we like.

    I strongly believe this will make GoodNotes the best notes app out there and choosing it instead of Notability would become a no brainier.

  16. Make scanned document or photo of written text able to be recognized text.

    Make scanned documents or photos of handwriting able to be manipulated or changed to editable features on phone apps. Make photo or document scan able to be rotated and cropped like photo file. This should be easy stuff to setup.

  17. More GoodNotes Themes Please!

    I'm personally very much not a fan of the navy-blue theme. I believe it would be an amazing UX implementation for GoodNotes to follow in the footsteps of Apollo for Reddit, for example, who offer a wide variety of aesthetic variations, see the attached picture for an example of what GoodNotes could implement!

  18. Paint area for flash card answer

    Some answers of questions are graphic based. It would be great so have some space for sketching instead of mind based answer contol.

  19. Create the option to save your favorite or most used brushes

    In the way that you can save your favorite brushes, meaning type, color and size, in other apps so you can quickly switch between the main brushes you use in a document, it would be nice if Goodnotes had a similar option as well. It would really speed up my note taking proces if I could quickly switch between different pens and highlighters.
