I love taking notes and drawing in GoodNotes and it would be great if I could rotate the objects I've drawn on the page. We can already change the color and scale the object, so it would be nice to be able to rotate these objects.2,699 votes
It would be a great deal, if it would be possible to tag all documents and (possibly) each position within each note with one or more tags. There should be a tag list for each shelf of notes, such that I can have different sets of tags for each shelf. It should then be possible to open the tag list for a shelf, click on a tag, and get a list of all usages of this tag with all documents and all locations within documents. Clicking on a usage should open the document (in case it is the tag of a whole document) or the document at the tagged position (if the tag is attached at a location within the document). The list of usages should be sorted according to the document names, and if there are more usages within a document, according to the page number. It should also be possible to jump from a tagged position within a note to the list of usages, and then to another usage, and so on.
To tag a note or a location within a note, one should be presented a list of available tags within this shelf. Then, one can select one or more tags, and possible also add one or more tags, which then can also be selected.
It would be ideal, if this approach was combined with folders (and subfolders ...) within each shelf, as is proposed in another feature request. One speciality of this request is, that these folders should be kept separately from shelves, in order that different tag groups can be maintained, one tag group for each shelf.
This feature, would make a great application, as GoodNotes already is, much more valuable. It would make GootNotes also a great knowledge management tool - with only little implementation effort. Looking forward for this feature being added! :-)

We’re happy to inform you that we have started working on a tagging feature for the next version of GoodNotes. Thank you very much for your patience.
I'd love to be able to have sub folders and be able to add tags to my documents to make it easier to sort them1,787 votes
We’re happy to inform you that we have started working on a much improved document management system for the new version of GoodNotes, which will most likely contain tags and subfolders.
It is nice to be able to go to the next page going down instead of going left. It would also be nice if scrolling down to the next page continuous without jumping to the next page, so you can see the bottom of one page and the top of the next page.1,471 votes
We’re happy to inform you that we have started working on vertical scrolling for the next version of GoodNotes.
I *love* that I can search my handwritten notes! The rub is that sometimes something I'm searching for, spans multiple notebooks. It would be *wonderful* to be able to search all of the netbooks for the currently selected category!1,458 votes
We’re happy to inform you that we have started working on universal search and it will most likely be available in the next version of GoodNotes.
Even though we have some category options, they are limited and the ui is not the best. Implementation of a folder hierarchy structure with a better ui (may be with tags/labels) will make managing notebooks much more easier. Lack of hierarchy on folder management is the biggest problem&missing feature of all note taking apps which are currently available and this difference will surely make GoodNotes the preferred one over other competitors.871 votes

Continuous vertical scrolling would be great for quick maneuver. horizontally scroll each page took me very long time.796 votes
We have started working on it for the next version of GoodNotes.
you can do that on the pc (-> pdf xchange viewer) or on mac (spotlight search): if you enter a keyword it gives you a list of every page your word appears on, which is an incredible feature for learning with e.g. your universties pdfs.
goodnotes offers you the chance to look for a word within ONE pdf file, but there's no global search engine - which I believe is a feature a lot of people would appreciate!!

Can you add a continuous page for note taking that we can later create page breaks. Also please add the ability to insert or delete lines.681 votes
To move pages between Notebooks, you have to copy and paste the respective page. After that you have to go back and delete the page from the original place in order to avoid double pages. Please ad a function to just move pages from one Notebook to another.642 votes
I wish it could be possible to switch between the classic page turning and a continuous scrolling. When working on math projects, it would be very convenient to have a continuous scroll so that I can always see my last result or steps without having to continuously switch pages. Ideally I'd love to be able to mix continuous rolls with classic page by page notebook.531 votes
In good notes 4 we can only have subfolders in a masterfolder, i would like to be able to create as many subfolders inside subfolders as i wish475 votes
Is there a way to move pages from one notebook to another? When inside a notebook it would be great if I could go into the edit menu, select pages and then click on 'move' and then select the other notebook to send them to. This would help keep things organised.356 votes
I often need to go back and forth between multiple documents. Can we have three or four such open documents at once, possibly selecting them from icons on a toolbar, etc?242 votes
GoodNotes is the most useful app for me as a University Student.
However, there is this one thing that constantly makes me want to grab another app or Paper&Pen again. It is GoodNotes' appearance before entering a notebook.
The way notebooks look and are organised is simply uninspiring, boring and extremely unhandy!
This one very thing keeps dragging me over to Noteshelf. I like everything about GoodNotes more. But the refreshing look of noteshelf is a deal breaker for me.
I would be extremely happy if there is any chance of you working on the apps' design.145 votes
we recently hired a designer and are now working on a lot of improvements that will be available in the future.
Cornell note template is very efficient for notes132 votes
We have started to design a whole set of new paper templates, which will be available in one of the next updates. It will contain different cornell note papers, as well as meeting notes, week planner and probably also a set of dark templates.
Have a good day:-)
