Ability to erase or undo on the spot.
It would be great if one could erase or undo while writing on the page by simply scratching or drawing a line over the character or words similar to the "MyScript Nebo" app. Another option could by a double-tap with two fingers anywhere on the page to undo. While taking notes from long lectures or presentations I find it less practical to look up and move my stylus to the top of the page to hit the undo button or switch to the erase tool. This add-on feature alone will make note taking on Goodnotes a pleasurable experience and bring it to the next level.

Two finger tap to undo would be a life-saver! I spend a lot of time switching between Procreate and GoodNotes, and I can't tell you how many times I've tried a two-finger tap (sometimes repeatedly) wondering why it won't undo.

Not sure guys, this could be detrimental if activated by mistake. I don't want to be careful what/how to touch, I want to focus on what i'm writing and not on how the app could interpret my writing. The undo button is always there, easy to reach and impossible to mistake. If you do this, make it possible to disable.

I 100% Agree! I would love to see a double tap feature to erase.

Like others have said, the Nebo line through gesture and NotesPlus scribble out are convenient. However, Nebo doesn't seem to do enough usability testing so their implementation is flawed. For instance, I get a lot of unwanted erasures when I cross x's and t's. NotesPlus implementation is even worse.
Be creative about the gesture. You don't have to follow Nebo or NotesPlus. Brainstorm. It should be easy and quick to do, but UNMISTAKABLE. (Experiment with strike through variants, crossing out, circling, retracing in reverse, taps, pressure, temporary "x" popup, etc.)
Make sure whatever gesture you choose, you NAIL IT. 1. Do your homework. Test it extensively internally to make sure it's annoyance free. 2. Have COMPLETE documentation, including video, and hints for doing it 100% reliably.

Concepts (another fantastic vector ink app) recognizes a two-finger-tap and a three-finger-tap gestures and lets the user configure them—e.g. two-finger-tap to undo, 3 to re-do. A multi-finger single tap would be better than a double-tap, as it is even quicker. I’d like these gestures to be mappable to at least the following behaviors: undo, redo, switch to eraser tool, do nothing (for those who find themselves triggering them accidentally). Nebo’s scratch-through is kitschy, but far from ideal.
If Goodnotes did this I would switch from Notes Plus!

I agree that undo is uncomfortable now. Double tap can be a simple and fast feature.
Love the finger erase and scratch/through options. Double tap to undo is great too, really takes you out of the writing flow to find and click that arrow in the corner.
Write with Apple Pencil and erase with finger would be a great option. Alternatively Nebo like crossing text within a few seconds of writing would be good and not cause accidental erasures
Double tap would be great!!!
Can't praise the scratch to erase feature of Nebo enough!
Of Course, having their text recognition in GoodNotes would be even better...
