I'm a user who was using a good note
I hope that this feature will come out with good notes
I'm using tape function as follows
If I click tape function, Then, the tape function of the item disappears and appears, so it's very convenient
But I think I'm going to disappear again at once again, so I think it's a little uncomfortable

fix the bugs!
Since the 6.2.2 update, I cannot use goodnotes because it keeps crashing. no word from your customer service after countless submitted requests. fix the bugs and then we can talk features! the app DOESN’T WORK!

Sell Goodnotes 5 and Goodnotes 6 simultaneously.
You may need sometime to improve user experience of Goodnotes 6. In the meantime, you should sell both versions and thus keep the normal functions of Goodnotes 5. When Goodnotes 6 starts getting good comments and good ux, the Goodnotes 5 users may upgrade.
Now with the sync issue, I'm getting frustrated and started to look for alternative apps...

Fixing buggy experience
The problem is that GoodNotes is publishing new features since months but they don’t work on improving it. You have all the time buggy experiences and the user experience is the worst.

Math Calculator, Measurement Unit Conversion and Currency Conversion, within the app
I use GoodNotes to take notes during lectures but I also do a lot of my homework in this app. I wish I could at least perform some basic math calculations without leaving the app. Right now, if I want to do any calculations for math class or some other class, I need to leave the app in order to do a Google search or I have to use my phone to do it.
It would be helpful if I could write out the problems with the Apple Pencil and GoodNotes would be able to help me perform some basic…
84 votesThanks for sharing your feedback. Would it work for you to open a calculator app as a slide over app and then just swipe it in from the side when it is needed? You won’t have to leave GoodNotes for it and you can easily make some quick calculations.

per tab undo history
The current undo history is global, or per document. This is quite confusing because tab is the focused object and if I did something and tap undo, something happens in another tab. To me this is quite bad design.
I'd love to see a per tab undo history, or at least an option.

Please block the home bar on iPad while writing like in Notability
I am very close to changing to Notability because of repeated problems while writing and I tried everything please don’t say there is an answer I TRIED!

What is happening when you’re touch the homebar? Are you using an Apple Pencil? Perhaps the palm rejection is not working correctly in GoodNotes. Usually, the homebar should be ignored while writing. A daily or weekly recap/summarise of what were written to revise and refresh our memory to learn more effectively
Have a feature that summarise what is written at the end of the day to revise or recap the important ideas across different notebooks. Show "card-like" pages sorted by different notes/folder. A good way to review what we've learn and to slows down forgetting curve.

Allow us to erase self-made markings from an entire document
I'm using GN5 to read my Q&A textbook, and I want to be able to erase my markings so that I can reuse my book, but it's tedious having to go through each page individually and press clear page. I want to be able to press Clear Document
9 votesOne thing you can try is to export the document and disable “export annotations”. Then reimport the document into GoodNotes.

Record writing and save in notes as animation (gifs)
I would love to see a feature where you can screen record yourself writing/drawing a section of your notes, having it save as a gif and then can be replayed anytime within the notes page. Like having small animations embedded within your own notes (resizable and movable like a mini-player), creating more dynamic pages.

Fewer rows of tools
Goodnotes uses two rows of tools, which is takes up too much screen real estate, especially in landscape mode. This means I cannot use Goodnotes for teaching, which is what I got it for. (It's a shame, because Goodnotes is otherwise well suited for teaching.) It would be great if you could compact to a single row of tools (or even zero), to get more writing area.
