  1. Page width snap to zoom

    1st hour migrating from Notability. But, in Goodnotes you can't snap to zoom the page to full width. Also, when you flip the ipad into landscape orientation it would be great for full with to be maintained. Maybe a button to zoom to full page or page width... would be great. Please :-)

  2. Stay in business

    Give us Mac users some way to view or edit GoodNotes 5 files. I am thinking of uninstalling GoodNotes and reverting back to Notability. I have seen market-leading companies fail because they killed core products before they had a replacement... not an idle claim: I have IPO's on three stock exchanges under my belt.

  3. How about a feedback page where users can complain about technical problems?

    I have gone all over this website looking for a place where I can post a technical problem and let you know a suggested work around for images in PDF files doesn't exactly work. It pretty much sucks when you don't give some contact information for posting complaints so I am posting here.

    Here's my observation. I periodically archive a working log book to dropbox that includes image files. There was no problem with the images that were imported in Goodnotes 4. You acknowledge there have been problems having to do with the Jpg file that is used for images…

  4. Possibility to save backup file in an external app

    I would wish to have the same function like in GoodNotes 4 to save my backup file in an external app.

    There might be a problem at the moment with the backup function, because I became an error pop up with the message "ZIPFoundation.Archive.ArchiveError-Fehler 4".

  6. Title pages or chapters within notebook

    This way you can label pages within the notebook with certain names (not always written ON the page, necessarily). A table of content view of these title pages would help too.

  7. Goodnotes Mac at more region

    Please release Goodnotes Mac at other regions as well.
    Or perhaps have a web version for the user to view, download and maybe even edit their document.
    - From a student that's always panicking when the iPad ran out of battery in the middle of an important lecture.

  8. Side-by-side 2 pdfs same time

    When I'm taking notes, I like to check my digital book. I would like to have 2 documents side-by-side and in a way I can edit them separately but seeing both same time.

    We’re excited to announce that we have completed this feature. It is now available in the update GoodNotes 5.3 for iPadOS (13.1).

    With the update, we added full support for iPadOS’ multiple windows. It lets you do much more than viewing two documents side by side. To read everything you need to know about opening multiple documents, please visit goodnotes.com/ipad-os.

    How to open a new window:

    You can now open GoodNotes in multiple windows to view two documents side by side, view two pages of the same document in Split View, or pair it with other apps in spaces across your entire system. To open a new window, drag any of the elements listed below to the side of your screen:

  10. Repair the broken iCloud synch and add other cloud services.

    It is obvious. Backup works fine, iCloud sync doesn't.

    Hi everyone,

    We’re happy to announce that we have finally found a fix for the issues with iCloud. Apple’s engineers confirmed that there was a bug with the GoodNotes folder in their own system.

    After updating to version 4.11.11, which is available as an update on the App Store, you should be able to quickly sync all your changes and notebooks across all of your devices again.

    We want to take the chance to say sorry again to everyone that was affected by the problems. Thank you so much for staying with us during these hard times!
    In case you should experience any trouble with iCloud after updating to the latest version, please contact our support.

  11. I just started using this and like a lot of people, I am having problems syncing it between iPad and iPhone. Please fix the sync problem.

    Hi there,

    thanks for the suggestion. You can already move the toolbar to the bottom of the page, specifically due to this writing posture, by opening Options>Settings>Document Editing>Toolbar Position

  15. Option to restore Paper Templates to default.

    I seem to have lost the original landscape squared paper, and I can't find a way to get it back.
    I have made many custom templates, and I like this feature, but somehow I made this mistake.

  17. Please make a MAC version of this app as well. Also it'll be nice if we could use the lasso tool to copy from PDF to notes.

  19. Save recognised text to exported PDF

    When I export a document and then open it using a PDF Software the recognised text from GoodNotes is not saved to the document, so after exporting it's not possible to search through files.

  20. How's that MAC app coming along....
