Moving pages between notebooks instead of copy, paste and delete manually
To move pages between Notebooks, you have to copy and paste the respective page. After that you have to go back and delete the page from the original place in order to avoid double pages. Please ad a function to just move pages from one Notebook to another.

Any chance you'll add this functionality?

I have had this app on my iOS devices for several years & the one thing that have always bugged me was not being able to take any specific PDF and place it in multiple folders.. OR/ easy move that PDF around within the selected “journal/folder”
The application being a musician who gets Music Charts via PDF and rearranging the charts from from set list to set list (week to week)... not having this feature has caused me to rely on other apps even though I love the annotating elements of this app the best

A copy/cut/paste function would allow me to consolidate many of the thousands of pages of my ideas/notes into focused notebooks.

Copy, change notebooks, paste, return to the other note book, delete option works but is cumbersome.
It would be much more efficient to have a move option like the one in MS Excel where you can pick the notebook it goes to and the position in that notebook where you want it to be put.
I keep all my current task lists and projects in a couple of notebooks and when finished i archive the redundant pages so I can always backtrack to what I did and why so a move function would make this much simpler. -

The ability to copy / move multiple non consecutive pages from one document to another would be fantastic.

I agree. I'd also like the ability to merge 2 notebooks. I've had occasion after using a topic that I want to reorganize it. Sometimes this includes merging 2 notebooks. If they are large it's painful to copy, paste and then delete.

I agree with Phillip. Usually I wish to jot a few notes, and then quickly move that page to an appropriate notebook. This happens far more than when I'm consciously spawning a page as a duplicate to another notebook. A "cut" page choice would solve this, in addition to "copy" page.

Actually this is possible, though not obvious in its execution.
1. Go to Thumbnails.
2. Touch Edit button (upper right)
3. Select page or pages you wish to move
4. Touch Copy button (lower left)
NOW GO TO TARGET NOTEBOOK
1. Go to thumbnails.
2. Touch Plus button (upper left).
3. Touch Plus icon (where you wish to insert pages.
4. Select Paste Copied Pages
5. Touch Done button (upper left)

I couldn't find the copy and paste button in my full version of GoodNotes. So the ability to move a page in one notebook to another will be great.

This really isn't too difficult and isn't worth getting too upset about. Some nice udeas, but the real beauty of Goodnotes is that it is minimalist and does just what it needs to do, very well.

There is a way (copy then paste in new file then delete in old one) .... it's way too complicated though. Also would be great to have an easy way to select a full range of sheets rather than clicking on each individually. Also quick way to bulk combine notebooks.

I export the page I want to move as a photo and save to camera roll then import in the notebook I want to move it to as a image. You can still write all over it and edit.

Surprised that moving a page to another notebook has been ignored by the developer. Such a simple function that should have been part of the original design. Agreed that it is almost enough to stop using the app. The copy and paste function does not work as it should. I'll give it a couple of months for the developer to correct. If not, good bye.

Yes, this, except I would suggest Move or Copy.

This is enough of an annoyance to me personally to stop using the app. This needs to be added to be functional.

This is my major annoyance with the app. Would love to be able to move pages into new notebook.
