Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

How much longer before we get password protection?
I love GN but need my sensitive work data to be encrypted, so plan on switching in the new year.

Andy Miller commented
Yes, we need encryption!

I've stopped using the app as I'd like to password protect my notes. This would be a game-changer!

Having recently got an Apple Pencil, I bought GoodNotes following positive reviews but the absence of password or Touch ID protecting journals or notes pushed me to purchase notability. I have to say I’m now using notability exclusively mainly because of the ability to password protect notes even though I much prefer the interface of GoodNotes. So come on guys, sort this out, it should be a fundamental feature for a paid note taking app..

There aren’t any technical barriers that I’m aware of that would prevent this feature, and it is standard in any other reasonable note app. The only explanation I can come up with is that the developer has, and wants to retain, a way of looking at users’ notes.

This is a really important feature to have for note taking apps. Please implement this feature!
