Dropbox sync
You definitely have to include the Dropbox sync function as realized in goodreader. this would be essential!
And I'm convinced a bunch of people will be willing to pay more for your app

Really needed a Dropbox sync! I use good notes for work and I need to have all my files backed up automatically.

And please make it password-protected (AES256 encrypted).

Please improve the sync options. I don't use iCloud, and don't plan on doing so either. Please incorporate sync with other platforms, such as dropbox or google drive!
Without seamless sync, this brilliant app is nearly useless, as I need to access my notes on my iphone as well as on my laptop (apart from on my ipad, obviously)... Until this is fixed, I'm forced to use other apps to get the job done =(
This app is far superior to the competition in so many aspects, so I'm very disappointed that this feature was suggested more than 4!!! years ago and still hasn't been implemented. -

Please, please, PLEASE add a more reliable sync option. I have been forced to "nuke and pave" my iPad Goodnotes 3 times in the past week alone. I love GoodNotes, but I don't trust it anymore - you're going to force me to look for an alternative if I can't get a trustworthy sync option.

I hate iCloud, and use it for nothing. There have already been issues (luckily, thankfully, hopefully fully fixed now, thank you!) but I really want 2-way sync and backup with Dropbox, not with iCloud. Would like to create and edit on iPad, view/edit on iPhone, and view/print/refine on computer, using Dropbox as the one source for sync.

iCloud sync is terrible!!!
Please support the Dropbox sync!!!
Please! -

This would make GoodNotes my only necessary PDF reader/editor. A very strong app for dropbox sync is iAnnotate. It allows saving over the existing file, as well as creating the annotated PDF as a separate copy of the original.

Syncing across devices is essential! Ive used good notes for 3 years, and have always recommended it to friends and colleagues. But the iCloud "sync" is unusable. I have documents on my iPad that haven't sync'd in weeks, and there's no way of knowing if/when it is doing anything.
Sadly I've started looking for a replacement. I even bought good notes on the desktop - that's wasted money I'll never get back - it still doesn't know about notebooks I created 15 days ago! Please please please sort sync out - it turns a great 5 star app into a useless 1 star app for me :( -

Essential feature needed. Its much user friendly if it has this feature, which many other apps had already. Please add this feature

This feature is essential. I cannot get rid of other apps until you include this feature in Goodnotes

An absolute must! I can't use GoodNotes until it has this feature. I have university lecture notes stored in dropbox that I sometimes need to annotate and then be able to see those annotations back on my mac promptly (without fussing about with exporting each file!). Dropbox auto-sync will compete this app. Good Reader does this very well, take notice!!! (And the ability to import a folder directly from dropbox, instead of doing each individual file).

Agreed! I have just purchased GoodNotes thinking this feature was available. I am unlikely to keep using it if a Dropbox sync doesnt become available. Nothing speaks more than having the confidence of not writing over files accidentally or having to wade through duplicates. Please add - it will make GoodNotes unsurpassable in my opinion.

I totally agree. Being able to browse my Dropbox folders from GoodNotes, select a pdf, anotate it and storing it back to Dropbox would be perfect.

In the new version there is not even a one way sync function anymore!!!

I have been using goodreader for years. I like your app much better. The inking is better, the palm protection is better. The ability to annotate PDFs AND write notes in notebooks is wayyyyy better.
However, the Dropbox sync baffles me. If you had 2-way sync, I'd abandon ship with Goodreader today and go goodnotes. I'd also recommend my students do the same.
I really like goodnotes! Please add the two-way sync!
