More color options in top menu bar (more than just 3)

On OneNote I have 14 different colored pens and highlighters up top. GoodNotes is superior to one note in almost every way except this one. I color code my notes, so I am forced to used one note. If I were to try and color code using goodnotes, it would take me hours longer because there are so many extra clicks to get to the correct color of pen or highlighter. Having more color options up top and allowing both pens and highlighters in the menu bar like one note would be amazing.

There is plenty of room up there, changing pen thickness is not important enough to have that much space up top, other colors are. But honestly there is plenty of room for more colors, you could just shift the thickness all the way to the right and the other menu options all the way to the left and have room for 10 more colors.

    Why do they have the feedback section if they're not going to add something so basic for over 2 years. MORE PEN COLORS ON THE BAR.

    yeah... i would love a floating color palette box that had a customizable amount of color options specifically. would make the flow feel so much better

    being able to have at least 5 options available is quite necessary, I always need to swap colors every 5 seconds :(

    It sounds silly, but this is a big problem and needs to be addressed with higher priority. There are two different suggestions for the same thing, each with ~700 votes, so the vote is artificially split.

    When I'm writing 300 pages of lecture notes for a semester long class, I have to manually select different colors literally several thousand times. It's not just the extra clicks, which are annoying. The real problem is the extra distraction. I constantly have to keep in mind what colors are up on my palette rather than just focusing on what I'm writing.

    The silly thing is that there's more than enough room in my iPad interface to add extra colors. There's no earthly reason why this couldn't be expanded with relatively minimal investment of developer time.

    I color code all my notes for every class. This is the one feature holding me back from leaving notability and using GN5 other than for my daily planar. Please implement this so I can finally just use only one app.

    I would be very happy to see this implemented. I use more than just three colors, switching between the different ones I use gets quite tedious and annoying.

    This would be a gamechanger. I don't want to use OneNote, but this is a critical feature I need.
