I agree. Bring manual sorting back.

I agree with ALL the others! Custom Sort is THE Biggest reason to own this App! And if the only reason I can't use Custom Sort is to use iCloud! Than give me the Option to say "NO to iCloud" and give me back a reason to keep this App! Because so far, I don't see a reason to keep it! I own a bunch of Note Apps, I may as well invest the time to learn one of them! Anyone got a suggestion of which one?

Ok, I'd like to say that with some extra effort, I was able to get creative and sort my notebooks around with alphabetical trickery (letters a,b, c etc), and by numbering my notebooks (1,2,3 ,etc) as well to create my notebooks in order. A bit of a hassle still, but do-able. Manual sorting would be much easier!

Manual sorting isn't possible while maintaining iCloud functionality. I have a solution to propose. Make the REAL name of a notebook a hidden property that simply reflects its position in the category when sorted, and the name visible to the user could be a different property that has nothing to do with sorting?

In this way, the user can, as in GoodNotes 3, simply drag notebooks around in a category, and when a notebook is moved, its filename and those below it are changed to affect the new position without changing the name visible to the user. Then, if the user prefers automatic sorting (I don't) then the sorting property can be switched to the user-visible name rather than the hidden name. Would this work?

Please add this feature back, all my notes from class are all out of order now, and it takes forever to find them, when i have 20+ things in a category. This is a must feature, in the mean time, I am going to stick with goodnotes 3. Probably won't upgrade until this feature is back.

I fully agree. I NEED manual sorting back. Date and Name sorting I can use it eventually but main I use is manual.

This is a feature they DESPERATELY need to bring back. I can have up to 50 notebooks/files for each class, and they are not all named alphabetically in the order the professors lecture. This is the one thing that I loved about Goodnotes 3. I might just have to get another app because this is ridiculous. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change this. I love goodnotes. I really would rather not change apps.

It is absolutely ridiculous you can only arrange them by name or date, this leaves all my lecture practicals, tutorials and revision notes mixed up! Plus with only four per line it takes even longer to find everything I need. Going back to good notes three.

Please also return pdf table of content view, fix the add image, which becomes blurry after the image has been added.

Yes, more docs per row would be nice!!!

I wish to further this idea by requesting the ability to choose how many docs per row. I liked having 6 before (in landscape view) but having only 4 means more scrolling to find docs.
Please can this feature be more customisable for each person.

This is the most glaring missing feature from GoodNotes 4, it needs to be re-added.

I didn't like my ipad and couldn't see a use for it until I discovered GoodNotes! The only reason I still have an ipad is the versatility/functionality this App provides! Asking me to pay again is an insult! I am greatly relieved that I didn't upgrade! The (now lost) ability to custom order is why I wrote to: GoodReader, Notability, iAnnotate and others telling them to learn from you! Without the Custom Order, I may as well switch to one of the others (I already own)! Very disappointed!

I Need the custom sort back, too! Whitout this function you can delete goodnotes 4.0. for This Time i will use Version 3.
