Seamless Continuous Pages
It'd be good to have an option for this
In Notability, in a vertical scrolling document, when you write at the bottom of a page, it seamlessly lets you draw through to the next page. On GoodNotes 5, you are forced to remain constrained to the current page. Maybe have a page lock option or something to remedy this issue since it'd be useful for people who like unlimited scrolling documents.5 votes -

Align page numbers with document
When jumping to a specific page, Good notes is using its own count of page numbers, which often differs from the count the document is using, especially for scientific literature. This leads to the reader having to write down two page numbers for reference, one for the scientific quote and one to actually find the quote again using the "jump to page" option. A great option would be to adjust this manually, e.g. telling good notes "this is Page 72", so the actual page numbers of the document can be used as reference.

Shape snap tool automatically recognize intersections and move towards the intersection
Allow for the shape, pen, or highlighter snap feature to instinctively recognize an intersection of polygons, lines, or just a plain dot. This feature is mainly focused on imported documents and images. In the image below is a triangle (redrawn for clarity) where at each corner, the blue do for the highlighter snap shape is not at the corner. The snap tool should detect intersections, such as for a grid line or corner of a polygon, and automatically move to the intersection.

searchable screenshots
The #1 reason I use goodnotes instead of paper for taking notes is the ability to paste screenshots from my Mac directly into my notes.

Make avaliable fo Android
Hi, I'm a student from Brazil, and unfortunately I don't have an Apple iPad or mac, so please, make it available for android. I have a Samsung s20 FE and I really wish I could use GoodNotes. My favorite function is the handwriting recognizer. I am waiting for good news. Thank you.

Can you please work with notion and make your apps work together so i can use goodnotes in notion on my pc and my ipad. there is no app that works with windows and ios that you can writting notes in and organize everything.

Smaller toolbar with more colours
I love good notes, but, unfortunately, the tool bar enables us to only use three colours which makes the process of changing colours quite tedious. I also think the toolbar takes up a lot of paper space, especially if you use more than one tab. It would be fantastic if you guys implement these changes.

Make Extra Margin Space In Imported PowerPoints
It would be super nice to have extra space to write sentences and phrases on the side or under imported PowerPoint instead of only being able to write on the slide. Writing on the slide helps highlight terms etc, but doesn't help any extra information a teacher/professor may say out loud, that's not a part of the slide.

To be able to have a deck of flash cards as an option when creating new files. Would be great for studying ! keeping everything localized on goodnotes is optimal and removes the need of users to relocate to other sites/apps

Scale
I love digital notes with Goodnotes. But when you take notes on paper the sheet usually has lines (ruled) or a grid (squared) that are a fixed scale. I always have issues finding the right scale on a digital page as long as I cannot set a value for it. So I ended up taping in the side of the iPad screen a piece of lined sheet so that I zoom the digital sheet for the lines to match the paper lines. That way I have constant scale and I am not always trying to adjust my writing size to…

Use of AI to automatically create outlines in the documents that don’t have them.
Ability to create outlines of documents like books , using AI rather than manually creating every single outline for easy accessibility of the subtopics or chapters within a document.
Also the ability to copy and paste outlines from one document to another should be there.

ADHD help: Infinite Pages, Pen options, Text to Flashcards
The option for infinite pages like Onenote would be amazing! I find being able to scribble out ideas for mind mapping really helps me with my ADHD.
The ability to print it out later would be great as well, perhaps in the form of light outlines in the background on the template so we can visualise where all of the writting is going, or an auto suggestion?I love how CollaNote allows you to have multiple pen/highlighter options on the side of the page instead of the top bar. That would be reallly really helpful as well as I colour…

Add post-it notes on the side column of documents
adding post-its at the side column off a document so that we can write extra notes but it does not have to be on the page itself.
