Give me an additional type of content - EMOJIS - that’s handled more like pictures than like text. They can be added via emoji keyboard or a searchbox (see for example how notion handles it for page title emojis), and easily resized, ideally with improved item recognition (so that it gets selected when i actually select the emoji, not what the system recognizes as it’s borders).

I used this application 5 hours ago and now i can't use it. Pop up saying "failed to open documents" appears in every document i try to open. Is there any solution to cover this problem? I really need the files for my work and i didn't back up.

Hi! It would be great to have a web based desktop version to add PDF documents into existing notes. This would tremendously help note taking, currently I keep emailing PDF's to myself and importing into Goodnotes.

An option to generate an Index with the pages added to the scheme.

If possible an inectarive one that takes you to the selected page when you click on them.

Add document's colors, a place to change any color, in the document, kind of global variable, for example 2 text grouped with the same colour, be careful two text might have the same colour, this can help to easily switch in dark mode, but not the same characteristics(class in css),

Would be great if the pages automatically went into landscape mode when changing iPad position. Instead of staying in it’s own way vertical because then there’s just wasted space. I feel it’s better than having to add a horizontal page.

When you tap “Documents” when already in that view, go up one Folder level

If we can get a facility by which we can access web pages as that of a new window and then just copy and paste texts and image directly from there onto a note .

especially the bigger iPads do have a fair bit of room left in the taskbar. It would speed things up if you could add 2 more colors for faster changing them. You could only show 3 when going to portrait orientation or splitscreen.

I love the outline feature in iPad GoodNotes, but the auto convert feature mix up the list.
When I import a pdf to my note, some outlines will auto generate, which I could not do anything about those outlines. Maybe it is converted by title or bookmarks?
In most of the time I don’t need those outlines actually. These auto generate outlines make my original outline list super long, which is very inconvenient.
I hope there is a option that I can either turn of those outlines or modified them.

As stated. I import my own notebooks but the only way to edit line height is by making templates for individual pages first and later importing them into the notebook. This is not practical if I want someone else to use the document. Just adding instructions to edit the line height would suffice, having people make their own templates from separate files is a bit much.

In Good Note 4, when you ctrl+c,ctrl+v, the letters i get the original set color. But in five, the letters come in black. I haven't used version 5 yet because of this.

With the new Apple Pencil 2, you can double tap on the pen, and change e. g. from pen to eraser. Double tapping to screen with the Apple Pencil should be great!

Allow us the option to open files we import into GN.

Currently, when a file is imported into GN and we want to read/edit it, we have to go fishing for it in the GN and then open it. Why not given us the option to open the file soon after we import? We don’t bring files into GN just to save them for later reading. Majority of the time it is to read and edit it immediately.

Uniformed experience no matter what type of device is being used. Google, Apple desktop or mobile. It should just be available.

It would be nice to make a new design, like all Apple applications, or a kind of Material Design to the Google.

In goodnotes 4, the subject was automatically populated with the file name. This seems to be missing from goodnotes 5. It is important to me as I can add the file automatically to the correct client without having to enter the name in the subject line each time.
