FIX KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
Please fix “keyboard shorcuts” while in text mode. Goodnotes for some weird reason only makes you select a letter to switch between tools instead of “ command and the letter. So when trying to type on a external keyboard i cant type a P,E,H,S,L,I,C,or T with out it completely switching tools and existing out of typing mode. I feel like this is pretty big oversite and is unfortunately the only reason i have to us notability over good notes when typing at times. I can understand if this is a mac feature but as far as an ipad goes its…

Making the Line Spacing adjustment slider more user friendly
I adjust the line spacing pretty frequently, and it's really difficult to get it to a precise level.
The slider will almost always shift once you lift your finger or pencil from the iPad. This same problem also happens if you're using a Mac with a trackpad. It wouldn't be as big of an annoyance if the + and - buttons adjusted the slider at a better rate. On the Mac, one click on either button only adjusts the value by 0.01 pt.

Text function should open new text quick tools/toolbar
When you start using text there should immediately appear a toolbar so you can use the typing function as within word/pages… you should be able to start typing in a box as soon where u last put your pencil(or add a starting point). This way you don’t lose time switching between modes.

Place New Note in note status bar or in Add Page
Love Goodnotes! I am Frequently in multiple notebooks in folders when I need to make a new note. Now I have to back out of the notebook and folder to get to the Home Page to get to the New Note button. Having the ability to add a new note while in an existing notebook would be great.

Auto close oldest tabs
After the numbers of tabs gets too big (I.e. >10) , add a setting that lets the app auto close the oldest tab to keep the tab count manageable.

Long press to copy
Currently to copy an element like a sticker, I have to lasso and then long-press, as if I just long-press on the sticker that option isn’t available. I can only zoom, edit, or paste. It seems like an unnecessary extra step, and I’d love for “copy” to be an option here.

Assign/Preset Pen Colors and Sizes By Template
I frequently go between black and yellow paper templates, depending on class and revisions.
Rather than having to manually switch the three colors and pen sizes with each template, what if we could assign a preset for a template.
Ex: each time I open my black squared template, I'd have white/pink/blue colors set at .3, .5, and 1 but if I switch/insert my yellow dotted template, those presets would switch to black/yellow/blue (etc etc).

There’s times I’d like my highlighter to be more vivid without going over it multiple times, or times I’d even like it to be solid (e.g. to fill something with solid color since it’s larger brush size)

Option to minimize and maximize the elements
Hi Goodnotes! I want to suggest that the sticky notes (elements) will have an option to be minimized and maximized so we can have the choice of hiding it and showing it. It would be nice since I like to write key points but the newly added elements block the text. Thanks!

Lasso Werkzeug - Reihenfolge in der Auswahl-Leiste
die Position der vom Lasso-Werkzeug angebotenen Möglichkeiten in der Auswahl-Leiste sollten nach persönlichem Vorzügen verändert werden können.

Improve pasting text from another source
Every single time I paste text into GoodNotes from another source I have to resize, change font and MOST ANNOYINGLY undo the “indentation” and “misalignment” of text by using the return and backspace. The indentation happens even when the original text is all parallel and doesn’t have an indentation. I literally spend about 3-4 minutes each page just editing what I pasted to look uniform, parallel and neat. WHY!

Zoom out - See 2 then 4 then 8 (...) pages in one view
Instead of going to the thumbnails menu, just do a zoom out to see two pages in the same view, instead of one; then if done again you can see 4 pages and then 6, then 8 and so on.
Important detail is that, let's say you have the view for 8 pages in your screen, if you do the gesture to see the 'next page' you see the next 8 pages, so you can navigate much faster within the document.

Having a setting to move the undo button to the magnifying screen
I am suggesting to add a setting to be able to more the undo and redo buttons to the magnifying screen for easier access. When writing notes in class it slows you down to have to go to the top of the screen to undo. I believe that this is just a apple pencil gen 1 problem since we do not have the double tap feature.

Create our own sizes for sheets/files
It would be amazing to have access to more size options, not just the predetermined like A5, letter or GoodNotes size that comes with the app.
With these:
- If someone like to print the notes, this could be helpful to adjust everything.
- This would solve a size problem to LATAM (with "Oficio size").
- If someone wants to print and waste the less amount of paper, we can personalized the size to the half of the measurement.

Some answers of questions are graphic based. It would be great so have some space for sketching instead of mind based answer contol.

Edit Image background in app
In Noteshelf, instead of simply cropping an image, you can erase the background. This is super helpful when taking quick notes for class and capturing images from a presentation. I don't like having to do a freehand crop in GoodNotes just to get rid of the extra stuff. It slows down the note taking process.

Ich nutze GoodNotes nun seit einiger Zeit und bin sehr davon angetan. Ich habe davor ein Jahr lang Notability getestet und muss sagen, dass das einzige was mich bei GoodNotes hält die Schnelltaste für Formen ist. Um Notability eine Nasenlänge voraus zu sein wären meiner Meinung nach folgende Verbesserungen Nötig:
- Es sollte möglich sein ausgeschnittene Textstücke,Bilder oder sonstiges von einer Seite auf die Nächste zu verschieben ohne die ausschnitte erst ausschneiden und dann wieder einfügen zu müssen. Wenn man mal schnell eine Seite umsortieren will stört dieser Vorgang den Workflow erheblich.
