Add more and consistent Animations to the Goodnotes UI
At the moment, the interface feels noticeably static because most UI elements lack animations. This includes interactions such as opening menus, triggering pop‑ups, switching tools, or navigating between sections. Persistent Next/Previous Page Buttons
On Android, navigating between pages in a long document currently requires a two-finger swipe gesture. Across documents of 30–50+ pages, this becomes physically fatiguing and interrupts the writing/reading flow.
Request: Add persistent on-screen buttons (next page / previous page) that allow single-tap navigation between pages. These should remain visible at all times during document view, without requiring the toolbar to be active. An optional toggle to show/hide them in Settings would also be useful for users who don't want the UI clutter.

Handwriting lag causes curves to snap into straight lines when writing fast (especially while recording)
When writing by hand in GoodNotes—especially while recording audio and taking notes at the same time—I frequently experience severe lag.
Because of this lag, when I try to write quickly and draw curved strokes, the app does not follow my pen movement in real time. Instead, the handwriting is rendered as a straight line connecting the starting point and the ending point of the stroke, as if the curve information is lost.

Add option to remove AI
The UI is becoming somewhat cluttered, and in particular, various AI controls (which I don't and will never use) are becoming somewhat intrusive. It would be great to have an option to disable these to clear the UI up a little.

Calendar integration for Android
Like the Apple version.... True calendar integration. It is now common on other applications. What goes on Google Calendar shows on Good notes and vice versa.

On/Off Grid
A toggleable (on/off) grid would make writing on imported PDFs much easier.
The Zoom Window helps only in small areas, and handwriting often becomes uneven when looking at the whole page.
A page‑wide grid would keep both handwriting and shapes aligned.Additionally, a dot‑grid would be especially helpful because it guides writing without being too visible.

please make the blue UI bar thing at the top customizable in color
it is so insanely distracting when i try to work and really ruins the otherwise aesthetic look of the app. and the neon cyan logo has the same affect. ive seen so many other people with the same complaint, i dont really understand why nothing has been done to change this when it seems like a pretty simple change and would really please so many of your users and thats what this page is for?

Please implement copy to clipboard and sharing using the Web Share API in the screenshot options
On the iPad version, the OS share menu is displayed, allowing actions like copying and pasting into a note, but currently the web version only allows downloading.
Therefore, I would like you to implement a button to copy to the clipboard and a share button using the Web Share API.

Save Button
I know things autosave, but sometimes new things I write does not and then I lose all the things I wrote notes for my classes.
To help be more precise for users to know for sure their new edits are saved before closing, add a "SAVE NOW" button!! to prevent any of these issues.

The setting for preventing accidental touches
In the past, GoodNotes had a setting that prevented me from interacting with objects such as stickers, notes, or photos without using the selection tool. It seems this setting was removed in the last major update.

Native Samsung S Pen Eraser support
Other Android apps allow use of the physical eraser button of the stylus, but this does not work so far with S-Pen on Galaxy Tab. Selection eraser from the software menu is not very convenient and subpar to other notes apps.

Make it as an option for the user to choose the pen curser icon
For the people who uses pen tablets and doesn't directly write on the screen, the crosshair icon for the pen or pencil is really difficult to use. It should be made as an option for the user to choose which type and size of curser icon do they want like a simple mouse curser or a pen icon etc.

FIX Text Document bug when deleting multiple lines
When you delete multiple lines of text by holding the delete or backspace button, the text suddenly reappears, and the cursor bypasses all the text you "already" deleted.

Make AI tool use local computer/tablet and avoid credits. And remote processing of data sheets.
I do long lists of numbers like factorials and binary etc to get better at math. I like to use the ai to check values and it's impossible with the current credits system. Is there a way to set it to only use local resources and use it without limits for math solving? I currently use this primarily on a tablet, but being able to have the tablet and/or a local PC with the sofware run the AI and have it fluently go back and forth between local resources would be really helpful as I have lots of processing power…

I’ve been using Goodnotes across Android and Windows for a while, and I really appreciate how much the cross-platform experience has improved. I’d like to suggest a few features that I think would make the non-iOS versions feel even closer to the full Goodnotes experience:

Add image editing tools in Text Files (Windows/Web)
I would like to request basic image editing tools in Text Files.
Currently, when pasting images, there is no way to modify them (for example, crop or adjust them) directly inside the document as it works on iOS.Having the same functionality on Windows and Web would greatly improve the workflow.

Add audio export support on Windows
I would like to request the ability to export audio recordings on Windows.
Currently, it is possible to record audio in Goodnotes, but there is no way to export these recordings outside the app on these platforms.

Improve typing performance in Text Files (input lag)
Typing in Text Files on Windows is not responsive.
There is a delay when writing or deleting text, especially in longer notes, which makes it hard to keep up during lectures.
This likely comes from the current WebView-based editor.
It would help to improve performance, for example by optimizing rendering or reducing the load on large documents, so typing feels immediate even in long notes.
