We're excited to introduce support for circle and oval shape recognition with draw and hold. Now you can draw a circle or oval shape freehand and GoodNotes will automatically convert it into a perfectly shaped object.

To use this feature, simply enable draw and hold in your advanced pen settings. Then, draw your circle or oval shape and hold your pen in place for a moment. Voila! Your shape will be recognized and turned into a perfect circle or oval.

We're gradually rolling out the update. Refresh your GoodNotes for Windows app or restart your Goodnotes for Android app to update.

  4. PDFs with clickable Links should work here just like in the ios Version so you can easily navigat through your files

  8. 5 Mar 2023, I was not able to find a text tool. And I was not able to copy text from a webpage and past it into a note page in GoodNotes. If I'm missing something I am sorry. Is this feature just missing right now or am I missing something? Currently I am only using mouse and keyboard input... I'll connect my Wacom Intuos tablet and try again.

  10. I have a planner that comes with Goodnotes files format that are basically stickers and pictures. When I import, it does not work. I get unsupported file format. Can we have the ability to read all types of files, especially Goodnotes files? Plus it seems to have a size limit, which is not the case when using it on ipad with the same file.

    • allow us to import/export PDFs while being able to edit them
    • make it possible to add new blank/checkered pages to PDFs
    • and many more

Drawboard PDF is currently committing stupid mistakes with their recent updates. Capitalize on those quick and your app will become the #1 in the Windows market.

Users can create a new notebook by importing a PDF, or they can import a PDF into an existing notebook. Additionally, they can also export the notebook as a PDF file.

  13. I think this is already a feature on Goodnotes for Apple but can you guys make it possible to copy and paste from one notebook to another notebook on Goodnotes for Windows as well because right now it's only possible to copy and paste between pages within one notebook and the lasso tool is "refreshed" when you open a different notebook and doesn't remember what you copied on the previous one it would be really appreciated if you could make this feature ASAP thanks

  18. Regarding the "open document in web" option, I would like that instead of having to copy the link and paste it in the web browser (which for windows users is very annoying since they have to type the link in a random place to being able to paste it to the windows pc browser), being able to directly log in from the windows "goodnotes" web. So there is no need to copy or paste the link and it is more secure.

  19. In college it is easier if the notes we create are in their separated folders so that we know that this note is for a specific course or subject so there is no scattered notes just outside.
