Making Goodnotes user friendly for Android users !
Goodnotes features which are available on apple products are not available in android version, which are
1. Personalise handwriting
2. Voice recording
3. Scribble to erase
4. Scale
5.opening 2 notebooks and fast shifting from one to another.
6.Import option in drive, storage etc.
7.Smooth handwriting
8.FILLING COLOR IN SHAPES
9.Customizing Toolbar

We need to be able to type and enter text on the documents.
Drawing is great, but we need to have the ability to add text through typing into our documents.

1. In Notebooks or Whiteboards
Use text boxes, which let you insert movable typing areas anywhere on the page. Details
2. In Text Documents
A new format designed specifically for typing, available starting today. You can type freely across the page and organize your content using blocks. Details
Make sure your app is updated to the latest version to access these features!

reselect pencil after erasing
After erasing with the button on the Lenovo active pen 2 the eraser stays selected, even after you let go the erasing button. It should switch back to the pen

We have now introduced Auto-Deselect feature in the eraser.
Once you erase your strokes, you'd be switched back to the previous tool.
We have also released Scribble to Erase feature, using which you would be able to erase your strokes even more efficiently.

Thank you for your feedback! You can already do this in our Windows app. Click on the three dot menu (•••) under each page to see an option to clear the page content.

Dont't sync Tape as long as it doesn't work
I understand that not all Features are working on Windows / Web / Android already. But as long as these Features don't work, please don't (try to) sync them. When I use tapes on my iPad and want to edit or view the document on my PC or in the Web, I can see the Tape, so not the Text under the tape, and I cant make the tape invisible. So the document is basically useless, because I can't see what's under the tape. So maybe, as long as the feature is not supported on other platforms tha iOS, please…

Toolbar Customization
Completely customizable UI. Types of pens, colours. Having the oppurtunity to customize the toolbar like in office apps, and changing the layout to the right side of the screen, the bottom, left, wherever.

You can now customize your toolbar in Notebooks and Whiteboards by hiding or showing tools, and reordering them to match your workflow.
Access Toolbar Customization from the Accessories Overlay or from Document Settings (in Notebooks).
Pin frequently used tools like Ruler or Audio Recording to your main toolbar for quick access, and rearrange your Writing Tools panel by showing or hiding specific tools.

Features for Goodnotes Android
Hello Developper Team!
I'm so excited for the Goodnotes Apps in Android!
I think the BETA version lacks a few interesting features.The most important one for me is the ability to use the eraser by pressing the button on the S-Pen.
The lasso tool still lacks a lot of options : change colour, add elements for sticky notes, ...
I think it would be nice to have the option to use the keyboard for notetaking, to have a sticker library in the menu bar for easy access.
Finally I think we should have the option to open multiple notebooks…

copy and paste from one notebook to another
I think this is already a feature on Goodnotes for Apple but can you guys make it possible to copy and paste from one notebook to another notebook on Goodnotes for Windows as well because right now it's only possible to copy and paste between pages within one notebook and the lasso tool is "refreshed" when you open a different notebook and doesn't remember what you copied on the previous one it would be really appreciated if you could make this feature ASAP thanks

Go to page/Bookmarks
When using GoodNotes for a planner function, a feature allowing us to jump from one page to another without having to scroll through every page would be ideal. Also along the same lines, the ability to set bookmarks on documents so we can easily jump to those pages.

Improvements on the Lasso Tool
The lasso tool allows you to move whatever you've circled. But I think that there could be a bit more use for the lasso, in my Journal Application that I use I'm able to Lasso tool and change them. Aside from moving the circled parts, I can also rotate and adjust the size of the words. If I zoom in or out the words would change sizes too. I think that this will help people write words and adjust them how ever they want to better fit the paper versus constantly rewriting words and hoping it will fit right.
2 votesThank you for your feedback! Our lasso tool already supports the ability to rotate or resize the selection. After lassoing a selection you can tap again on the lasso selection to see the options to resize, rotate or delete.

Replicate the iOS function where dragging in your scroll direction adds a page to the notebook.

2 votesHi there! Thanks for your feedback. You can switch your eraser to stroke eraser by double tapping on eraser tool on toolbar which allows you to erase an entire stroke easily as you mentioned.

[BETA] Web Sharing: Bug: Firefox on Windows does not show text, only pen marks
I am not yet part of the GoodNotes on Windows beta. This is just in regards to the beta websharing option.
I created a new notebook to see if it would work for my upcoming Inorganic Chemistry lab. One thing I noticed right away is that the text blocks were not showing up in my browser, but the handwritten (not converted) blocks were.
I tried refreshing the browser, and that did not help.
Interestingly, the text blocks do show up in the thumbnails.
(Also note: I tried turning off AdGuard and that did not help.)I tried switching to Chrome…
2 votesThank you for your feedback! We've fixed this issue now. You should be able to view text on your notebook on Firefox browser. Please let us know if otherwise.
If you run into any other issues, we recommend using a Chromium based browser to view your notes.

Copy and insert multiple pages
It would be great if one could copy and insert multiple pages from one Notebook to another.

We’ve recently released the multi-select feature that should help with this workflow.
Please make sure you’re on the latest version of the app — you can check this via Settings → About.
Here’s how to copy and insert multiple pages:
- Open the sidebar in your first document and tap the checkmark icon to enable multi-select.
- Select the pages you’d like to copy.
- Use the Copy action to copy the selected pages.
- Open the desired notebook, and either via the sidebar or the + Add Page option on the toolbar, select Paste Page.

multiple pages selection & deletion
I want to select and delete more than one pages in a note. The iPad version has the ability to select pages and delete them, but why not the Windows version? I would appreciate it if you could add this feature as soon as possible. Otherwise, I think I will have to stop paying for the app because it is so inconvenient.

Features suggestion on Goodnotes windows
Hand Tool with Space Bar: It would be great if you could add an option to activate the hand tool by pressing the space bar.
Sticker Scrolling Issue: I’ve noticed that horizontal scrolling for stickers isn’t working. If it could be fixed, that would be awesome! (This is less of a priority for me.)
Shortcut for Laser Tool: Could we get a shortcut for the laser tool? It would be fantastic if users could also customize their own shortcuts.
Text Color Preservation: It would be really helpful if text color could be preserved just like text size.

lasso movements on rotated pages not working on windows
When inserting a new page and rotating it, if you write something and you wish to move it, the lasso does select the text but when trying to move it, it moves it in the opposite diagonal direction. And when you want to rescale the text, you just can't the anchor cannot be grabbed.
