Changing the pen type and color afterwards
It would be great if you could change the pen type and the color you wrote in afterwards. This makes it easier to adjust so that a document is clearer, or so that you can read it better when you print it out.
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback so we can make Goodnotes better.
We're excited to share that this feature is now live and available on the app version 143043!
Lasso any of the previous pen stroke & highlights to change it's color.
If you like the feature, please consider leaving a good review and sharing the new feature with your friends.
Thank you,
The Goodnotes Team

How this lack could be even possible. Please add this so basic function.

At this point, the lack of an option to change the text color after writing the text is a big negative for what is otherwise an excellent app. This feature request has been around for more than year. I hope the developers make it a top priority.

Hope this will be soon added.
I couldn't believe when I tried to change the color of a line of text, discovering it was not possible.

If you use the lasso tool around the area you want to change the color and click over in the options (where the copy paste option bar is), you can click color and then select a new color

Being able to, after having selected one area or handwritten text, to change it's color, thikness and opacity directly from the options of the lasso selection tool.
Instead of having to change the pen and rewrite it.
The same way, changing the font or the characteristic of a selected typed text is also needed.
