It would be amazing if Goodnotes could automatically convert handwritten notes into a selected font directly on the page. Users could write normally with the Apple Pencil, and the handwriting would transform into clean text without creating a text box.
This would make note-taking much easier, especially for students who want neat notes without constantly rewriting their handwriting.
This is really dear to me since I’m a perfectionist and I can’t write fluently on the iPad without erasing everything because it isn’t neat enough. I’ve seen many people write in the comment section on TikTok that they switched to a different app because that app had that feature. To explain this what I mean a little more detailed.. you write on the iPad like normally and when you finish your sentence or whenever there’s a big pause the app automatically converts your handwriting into the selected text font. There won’t be any text box where you can still edit the text. It’s like you wrote it so you can also erase it. If you write more the converter text will also be small. If you write big it will be big. Some people would say it’s like the same with the text box and the scribble function of Apple but no actually it’s not. The text box is so annoying because whenever you accidentally click on it it moves or you delete stuff or it just doesn’t get it right.I hope y’all can understand what I’m saying and vote for this to help me and other people enjoy this app a lot more!
