Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.

Develop a system that guarantees the confidentiality of sensitive information in notebooks. A very relevant feature for professionals who use GoodNotes for their work (doctors, lawyers, journalists, etc...) and who are legally responsible for guaranteeing the confidentiality of information. This can be done by setting a password for each notebook.

I've been waiting for this "basic" feature for years and GoodNotes has refused to do it for years. The only credible explanation for this unwillingness is that GoodNotes wants to be able to access the contents of our personal notes. And this despite their talk about data security. GoodNotes has never given a rational explanation for not integrating this feature. This is strange and very suspicious.

It's a very important feature that's available in almost all the journaling apps, which are available in the AppStore for less price than Goodnotes. I love Goodnotes and I am really surprised how can you leave this basic and essential feature out of it. Please do consider adding this feature in the next update. A goodnotes lover.

Good Notes got me through bar study after law school, and has been useful in my work as an attorney for things like CLEs. Unfortunately, I can't use GoodNotes in the actual practice of law because I cannot secure notes - which means that I cannot put any confidential client information into GoodNotes, even when GoodNotes would otherwise be my app of choice for a given task.

I used notability almost three years, recently, I switch to GoodNotes, in general, it’s better than notability. Now, I use GoodNotes to keep the journal, including the banking record..............However!!!!! It’s no password protection?
It’s really a big problem.Could you please add this password protection? I think it is very important to most of the users too.

Agree. That is the only thing Notability has over GoodNotes, and it’s a biggy. Please add Password Protection ASAP.

I agree, if this was posted in 2013, it should have been a feature already by 2020. Since it isn't it should be implemented by the middle or end of 2021
Goodnotes, please add this to the "considering tab" or just tell us you're working on this.
