An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Dap commentedI've been waiting for this "basic" feature for years and GoodNotes has refused to do it for years. The only credible explanation for this unwillingness is that GoodNotes wants to be able to access the contents of our personal notes. And this despite their talk about data security. GoodNotes has never given a rational explanation for not integrating this feature. This is strange and very suspicious.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dap commentedThe initial demande dates from 2013. And for the past 7 years, there has been no reaction from developers. It must be concluded that the security of the notes is absolutely not the priority of the developers who prefer to develop additional functionalities (stamp). This is really surprising because competing applications have all been integrating this element for a long time. From there to believing that developers do not wish to lock the notes in order to keep access to the content, there is only one step ;-)

Develop a system that guarantees the confidentiality of sensitive information in notebooks. A very relevant feature for professionals who use GoodNotes for their work (doctors, lawyers, journalists, etc...) and who are legally responsible for guaranteeing the confidentiality of information. This can be done by setting a password for each notebook.
