Create folders within notebooks
To be able to organise pages into sub folders 'within' each notebook would be very useful.
In GoodNotes 5 we implemented the option to create infinite subfolders to replace the concept of “categories” in GoodNotes 4. Consider using multiple documents in a subfolders instead of adding everything to one notebook. If you want to further divide your notebook internally, you can use bookmarks or custom outlines to label your pages.

I'd be happy with just being able to name my notes within a notebook.

The current version of Goodnote is a great hand writing application and is best in class. However, being able to organise ones notes is impossible and therefore it's hard to structure or find information easily. The implementation of a folder/tab organiser as an imbedded function within Goodreader like Onenote or Notability would make Goodreader a first class product with no equals. I can't believe the developers are reluctant or unable to bring this needed feature into this great application. I for one need this implementation to make it my primary note taking application of choice.

The perfect way to achive this would be to reuse the (already implemented) the PDF Outline Tab.
If the pdf outline was editable this would be the perfect ToC. It has indentation and is collapsable. Since this is a native pdf feature, it should be possible to keep the ToC even in the export/backup pdf files. -

Or allow more levels of folders (categories) than just two. 3 would be very helpful already. 4 would probably meet all my needs.

The ability to have subfolders within notebooks would be perfect! (or 3 organisational levels in the left column - dividers, subjects, units/clients for e.g.)

YES! Like adding tabs in a spiral notebook!

I agree with others' comments. We need a ToC page for each notebook, Having used Notability, the app allows for well organized notebooks. However, it is still a bit confusing IMHO. The commenter's suggestion about chapters and tabs is an excellent one.

Agreed. While I have a dedicated notebook per client, to have the ability to separate jobs(sub folders) would be an extremely useful function.

I'm amazed there are only three comments on this - easily the most important change they need for serious users!

I'm trying to go paperless at the office and am working on various financial transactions. I'm tempted to convert to notability so I can better organize my notes and PDF markups. What is the timing on this update? Thanks!

Are you working on this or not?

similar request, I'd like to be able to create "chapters" or "tabs" in my notebook. These would show up in the Table of Contents. I use bookmarks to create a ToC now but I would like to be able to designate a text box on the page as a heading for the ToC. those headings would appear subordinate the chapters/tabs in an outline style table of contents
