Insert New Pens/Markers
Allow users to insert new brushes similar to the procreate app. That way we can completely customize our notebooks with calligraphy and other word art.

If GoodNotes had a pencil, similar to what's available in Apple Notes, it would cement GoodNotes as the clear winner in this space. As it stands write now, I bounce around between apps, because nothing looks as good or feels as natural as the graphite pencil in Apple Notes.

I really like GoodNotes, but with the pens and marker there is just so little to choose from. With more option, as already suggested in this post and it’s comments.
Examples:
- for the marker:
-the option to change the tip in order to have square edges and not round ones
-the option to change the coverage
- for the pen:
-a more sensitive response to the Apple pen, in order for a real experience (so ist actually like you would use a real pen), so it changes it’s changing it’s thickness
-more options for pens ( a lead pencil, a crayon, a gel pen, as much as you can up with) there was a comment that suggested to cooperate with companies, which is a great ideaAlso even if you don’t can do every thing at once, which is normal, start with something an incorporate it, so we (the users) see that you are taking us serious and trying, even if it takes some time.

I’d really like the ability to shade like a pencil does! It’s hard to add depth to my sketches, holding back my productivity because it takes longer for me to sketch things.

I agree - I would love a calligraphy pen and other pen/pencil options like NotesPlus. I love GoodNotes but the writing options in NotesPlus is amazing and although I like The options of your app I find myself going back to NotesPlus more and more.

Add fountain pen without pressure sensitivity, please!!! Like noteshelf has. We need it!

I think adding a pencil and marker brush would be useful and adding some sort of sticky note type of feature would be very nice. I would also like to have more notebook covers.

Yes - I’d like the new pens to have some new properties that bring GoodNotes closer to the writing experience you get in NotesPlus which is beautiful.

Is it that difficult to add a pencil? It's confusing because most of the other quality note apps have a pencil option including native apple apps. I find it odd. And because of this, I do about half of my work in Noteshelf. This sucks because everything else I love is in Goodnotes. 🤦♀️

Allowing more pen colors (there are only 3 now—6 will be perfect) in the toolbar will be very convenient for those of us who use the app to teach online. Perhaps a more general customization of the toolbar will also go a long way. Thanks for the great product.

Just a pencil to draw simple Sketches would be nice

Exactly! That is one feature I miss from Apple Notes - the pens are nice, but a pencil is something I use in my non-digital notes so often - for comments, sketches, graphs... I am surprised why so little people voted this idea!

Cannot possibly agree more. I often switch away from GoodNotes to other apps to sketch ideas, then I grab them an paste them into GoodNotes. 😖
Please, please, please include a pencil for sketching. This would make one of my favorite apps even better.

Totally agree!! Please can you consider adding a texturize pencil? It would be totally perfect having great other pen types combined with the natural use of the application. After annotating my document on Book, this tool is really the first need for me.

Please consider this! Pencil "ink" feature makes a world of difference for both notes and sketches.
