Lasso tool automatic disable after using.
Lasso tool automatic disable after using.
Please make an option to automatic change from lasso tool to pen after using lasso. As for now it’s too much hassle to manually go from lasso to pen every time. Usually I use lasso to move an object only once, and when I’m done moving, I immediately want to continue writing.
As for now, every time after using the lasso tool, I need to manually change from lasso to pen tool.... every time! This is quite tiresome during a long writing session.
Or at least make an option to be able to turn on/off automatic disable of lasso tool, as similar to pen settings auto-dismiss.
Thank you for reading!

Can you please make it so that we can choose what our default tool is? Before if i selected the lasso tool and then closed tools to go to another page, when i opened tools again the lasso tool was still selected. Now it defaults to the pen as the original posted requested but for those of that use Goodnotes for digital planning the lasso tool is needed to move things across notebooks so it is very frustrating to keep having to rechoose the lasso tool each time especially since it was not like that before the recent update. Best solution so everyone is happy is to allow us to choose the default tool in settings ourselves for our individual needs.

Of course, make it optional

I switch between pen and lasso probably about 10 times minimum in 5 minutes, if not more. I write things and like to continuously organise my content, my thoughts as I go. This is especially useful in process diagraming and mind mapping.
Automatically turning off lasso once used would be annoying if you have to organise multiple things sequentially.
I would like to see this feature improved by being able to swap the double-tap Apple Pencil 2 gesture for Pen --> Lasso --> Pen, rather than Pen --> Eraser --> Pen as it is by default.
An additional option to improve this whole experience would be to allow a 'scribble to erase' feature. Therefore I could write, scribble with my pen on top of words to erase them, and double-tap the Pencil 2 to switch to lasso.

I 100% agree and relate with this suggestion. I imagine it would not be too difficult to implement.

Please, just as what you've done with the eraser. This is not that hard.
