Handwritten notes to typed
The ability to convert your handwritten notes to the typed version without having to copy and paste every time.
Thanks for the suggestion. We’d be interested to hear why you want to convert your handwritten notes to a typed version.

Apple notes makes it very easy to write handwritten notes, which automatically convert to text without using a texting box or copying and pasting. This is what makes apple notes much easier to use than Goodnotes. I’m really surprised this app does not have that feature especially for $30.

100% agree, the ability to have a function under Export page that not only exports the PDF but also the converted text in the body of an email would be great.
The Remarkable 2 implements an element of this in one steep and also Notes Plus implements this quite well.
I take copious notes in all my meetings but then send to my PA to action highlighted actions straight after each meeting.
It’s cumbersome in Good Notes currently, you have all the functionality ... just needs pulling together in one step.

I would use that right now. My case is I hand write ideas and things that will become part of either the functional or technical specification for my LambTracker app. I think better when handwriting but then need to get them into typed version for inclusion in the relevant documents easily. Select, copy and paste is slow, I'd like a way to convert and export entire pages and notebooks at once for faster inclusion in the app development documents.

I think it would be great if handwritten text could be converted and pasted to the canvas with "one click". The current solution (lasso handwritten text > convert > share > paste, lasso handwritten text > delete) is not convenient.

Writing by hand is helpful as it gives one more freedom than a word document.
But with reading, typed text has advantages:
Mostly for sharing the document with others, but it would also be helpful for converging sites with other pdfs, as typed text can be read faster (and it makes the converged pdfs look nicer. -
