[Highlighter] Rectangle, Square style
Rectangle professional looking highlighter. Like in microsoft word, adobe acrobat reader or apple books.
Current one looks unprofessional with business or legal documents.

Yes that would be amazing!!! I would love to have both options, just like the pens, you can choose multiple styles and types of lines, would be great to have the same for highlighter (round, rectangle, italic, etc.)

As a heavy user, I can’t agree more with this request!!!!
In fact, it’s weird that the squared tips are not available for such a great notetaking app! -

I feel this request for improvement is very critical. I wish the ends were squared off instead of rounded whenever I use GoodNotes. The squared off ends will definitely bring very much productive result to workplaces.

As a regular user of GoodNotes, I believe this suggestion is essential.
GoodNotes plays a key role in supporting visually engaging lessons in many different ways,
and small details like this can make a big difference.
Please make sure to implement it. -

OMG.This is exactly what I’ve always wanted. Whenever I use a highlighter, the ends always come out rounded, so it’s too complicated to make square-shaped highlights even if I want to. I strongly agree with this opinion — please make this update happen! I’m a GoodNotes 5 user, so please make sure the update is available for GoodNotes 5 as well.

I totally agree with him. I really enjoy using the highlighter tool, but I’d love it if the ends of the strokes could be squared off instead of rounded. It would make highlighting more precise and neat, especially when working with text.

I completely agree with this request! As someone who frequently uses the highlighter tool for studying and note-taking, having squared-off ends would make such a difference in creating clean, professional-looking highlights. The current rounded ends can sometimes make it difficult to achieve precise highlighting, especially when working with text or diagrams that have sharp edges.
This seems like a relatively simple UI enhancement that would significantly improve the user experience. A pen style option giving users the choice between rounded and squared highlighter ends would be perfect - it maintains the current functionality for those who prefer it while adding the precision many of us are looking for.
This feature would be especially valuable for:Academic note-taking where precision matters
Professional document annotation
Technical drawings and diagrams
Anyone who prefers clean, geometric highlightingI really hope the GoodNotes team considers implementing this. It would elevate an already excellent app to an even higher level of functionality!

I’m a GoodNotes user and I find it incredibly useful. However, there’s one feature I’d like to see improved. When using the highlighter, I wish the ends were squared off instead of rounded. I believe this could be easily resolved by simply adding a pen style option. I’d like to ask if this is something that could be updated.

Snow Rider 3D ( https://snowrider3dd.github.io ) offers thrilling gameplay that keeps players hooked. While discussing creative design tools like highlighter pens, it’s interesting to notice how real-life pens and virtual designs differ. Having sharp corner pen styles in virtual tools would align more with real-world usage. Talking about innovative features reminds me of Snow Rider 3D, where creativity and strategy come together perfectly, offering a memorable gaming experience.

Yes, please! I often use the highlighter to mark multiple days on a calendar, so having a solid rectangle would be quite useful.
