I’ve not used previous versions of the app but this is definitely something missing and should be added in. I don’t like having to move all the way to the top just to do an Acton and have to move all the way back. It would also be nice to be able to use the lasso tool in the zoom window

Definitely! I'm a long time user of the old version. I tried the new one as soon as it was released and I deleted it because of the lack of the tools in the zoom view. Now I gave it another try, but it is still not there! It's something basic in terms of UI. Just calculate how much time the user is wasting going back and forth all the way to the top of the screen. For me it is a deal breaker still, I can't use the app without that feature, it gets me angry to move my hand all the way to just do a simple undo or change the color.

I couldn't agree more with this comment. I love GoodNotes and was really hoping the features in the zoom box would be increased in the new release. I was shocked when they were removed entirely as this was one of my favorite features of the app. It would be great if the tools in the zoom box could be customized, IE add more than three colors if desired, having access to the shapes tool etc etc. I work almost exclusively in the zoom box when writing as it enhances the quality of my notes. However with the old features removed I have to move my hand much further to use the tools drastically reducing my efficiency. Please bring them back if not increasing the customization aspects.
