Delete page without having to back out to thumbnails view

As a user, I’d like to be able to delete a page I’m on without having to back out to the thumbnails view.

While “clear page” is useful, “delete page” would remove the annoyance of having to back out as I’m deciding page by page which to keep.

An alternative would be allowing zoom in the thumbnails view so I can better see what’s on the page.

    Absolutely great idea! I know I can delete pages from the thumbnail view. But when I am scrolling through the pages, adding or deleting text, and then find a page that is no longer necessary, I can EMPTY it from the drop down menu in the upper right, but I am not able to DELETE the page simply from here - immediately. It would be nice if in this case I would not have to open the thumbnail view, locate the same page (hopefully not the wrong one ...), delete it there and then return to adding or deleting text on other pages.
