Lock orientation permanently
Have the ability to lock the app to always force a certain orientation. iPad OS is much more productive in landscape mode, so locking the goodnotes app would allow the use of goodnotes portrait mode without having to constantly toggle the apple orientation lock whenever I open and close the app.

I agree. I’m left handed and prefer to buy portrait planners but flip my iPad in landscape. Ideally I’d like the option to lock in zoom mode.

Plus 1 for having a setting's feature to lock orientation. I draw using a grid and need to rotate the "paper" frequently. Really don't want to have to lock the entire OS orientation to satisfy this simple need. Easy fix guys please consider!

I would also very much like to be able to lock page orientation. It's quite a nuisance to try to create a diagram or sketch and then have the page rotate in the middle of drawing.
I can lock screen orientation for the iPad as a whole but then I have to keep locking and unlocking when going between GoodNotes and other applications.

I agree 100%. A feature is Needed to stop rotation , lock the orientation of the page. Thank you , Sam to write about it . Ria
