laser pointer keyboard shortcut
I'm using goodnotes on a mac over zoom for teaching. It would be very helpful to have a keyboard shortcut for the laser pointer similar to the keyboard shortcuts to the pen, lasso, images, etc (it is weird that the laser pointer is the only one of these tools without a shortcut). I'm constantly needing to switch between pen and laser pointer, and this make it a lot smoother. Thanks

I found a solution:
The "Pro" Solution (No Script Required)
Open System Settings.
Go to Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.
On the left, choose App Shortcuts.
Click the + button.
In Application, select Goodnotes.
In Menu Title, type exactly: Laser
In Keyboard Shortcut, press F6 (or Option + Z).
Why this is better: This works at the operating system level (it is instant) and requires no external scripts or permission grants. As long as the menu item is named "Laser," this will work perfectly.

I would love to has this feature on the Mac app. Plus, please make a shortcut in swtiching form the read only view mode back and forth with the editing mode, that would be a big plus since all the options in reading PDF, like links, references etc. would not work while in edit mode and select and highlight text with text selecter.
So I am keep switching back and forth with my mouse clickinng all the small buttons on the Mac App now, i.e. the laser pointer, the text box, the read only mode and edit mode switcher. This is very troublesome when reading large pdf files, like modern textbooks that has a lot of links to help you navigate through the pdf.
