[Colors palette] Group colors, Colors categories, Colors folders
We should be able to make color palettes for our pen colors to make the colors easier to find.

Agree with all the other comments, color palettes that can be saved and selected is a must. I would add that at least the one palette we have should also sync between devices, just like the custom pen presets. At the moment, both don't sync between devices and have to be manually set up on each device after every change or addition. This is very annoying if you're aiming for consistency between devices and notes.

Please do separate color palettes! It is rather frustrating having to constantly switch between colors; or having to go back to the notes taken and re-color them the correct color(color preferred).
It would be GREATLY appreciated for separate color palettes and/or set colors for each notepad or even folder. -

I've been wanting this feature so badly! I like to use certain colors for different courses, and I wish I could quickly select the color palette rather than change and adjust my color bar every time.

Do it now…. Please.
To have the ability to group colors together for an any specific class, say a math Palette. One set of colors for one class, and another set for the next class. That would be great. Reordering the colour list, maybe make some pre made palettes that can be customizable, that include 5-7 colours, like a Coolo scheme.

They should make it so you can save color palettes that you like, so you don't have to keep switching color by color for the palette you like. This happens to me sometimes because in some subjects I like other colors.

This would be an amazing feature.
Maybe also in combination with another idea that has been posted to switch between different Color Palettes to have a smoother workflow. -

The Problem: Users waste time and break their workflow by manually re-selecting the same set of colors for different subjects or projects. This repetitive task hinders efficiency and can lead to inconsistent notes.
The Solution: Allow users to save custom color palettes. These palettes would be a set of predefined colors for pens, highlighters, and shapes that can be activated with a single tap.
Benefits:
Saves Time: Eliminates the need for repetitive manual color selection.
Improves Consistency: Ensures notes, presentations, or art projects maintain a uniform color scheme effortlessly.
Enhances User Experience: Frees users to focus on their content, not on managing tools. This is a fundamental improvement that benefits everyone from students to professionals. Why It's Critical: This isn't just a minor feature; it's a core workflow enhancement. It addresses a critical pain point for power users and would make Goodnotes a more efficient and professional tool.

Yes! I was thinking this today! I was wishing I could use different colors/pen sizes/ pen types for each notebook I use since I use them for different classes which all have different page types, etc. I would like to customize each class more specifically catered to what I need in that class but I would have to change the settings on things constantly which would be a huge pain. Need Need Need this feature.

Separates colour palettes within the colour picking tool so that we can easily identity sets of colour instead of just one massive list of them!

I think it would be a nice idea if I could create a color palette and then save it. Like, if I make a palette that's full of pastels and another that's darker colors, I could create a "pastel palette" and a "dark palette." That way, if I find myself preferring the dark palette for what I'm doing but pastels for another project, I could easily switch between the two without having to go through and change everything again.

In the current Goodnotes application, it is only possible to assign the colors I want to use right now. But there are times that I want to use different colors according to the subject. For example, I like using [blue, red, green, dark purple] set when I'm taking history notes on the bright paper. But I like using [white, bright yellow, bright blue, bright green] when I'm solving math problems on dark paper. It takes quite a time to change all the colors I have on my screen whenever I'm trying to take notes about different subjects.
So, I propose making a personal color folder to solve this problem. For example, I can assign a folder "History" and store the colors I use on my history notes. This makes it much easier to change colors on different subjects.

It would be amazing to be able to group colors together (i.e., like how we can do folders for notebooks to be able to do something similar with the colors. Like if I had all my neutrals colors in a folder, my greens, blues, etc.) for example in the screenshot I have to scroll to see all my colors, I would like to be able to "collapse" them or put them in a folder.
Also to be able to export & import colors without having to add them individually. -

Sometimes I want to be able to organize my color pallets depending on the mood/theme of my layout, it’s mentally exhausting just having one big mixed list!

It would be interesting to categorize color by category that we can edit, named and change. Goodnotes could also share palettes.

Yes, so that you can have your own colours at the top and the standard ones either removed or at the bottom!

Maybe add the possibility to rearrange the colors on the color selector menu that would be really helpful.

I use different colors for different notebooks and it gets frustrating to change my colors every time i switch notebooks. I think it would be a good idea to have a color organizer when you can make a “playlist” and pick 6 colors and label them for the class you use them for.
