Image occlusion
The new flash card feature is terrific! Thank you! I have been a Anki user for a long time because of their image occlusion add on. It allows you to make a flash card from any image, which has been super useful to increase productivity and minimize time spent making cards. Anki did not have a convenient draw function. Goodnotes has solved that problem for me.
A easy fix would be a solid fill in the shape tool. This would allow image occlusion and make the flash card template unstoppable. I know dental and medical students would really appreciate this solid fill option in the shape tool.
Please. I still have 3 yrs left in dental school and goodnotes would be the ultimate flash card tool in addition to being the ultimate notes app! Let’s do this!

The suggestion of incorporating a solid fill option in the shape tool is a practical idea. It could significantly enhance image occlusion for flashcards, potentially benefiting dental and medical students. As someone with three years left in dental school, I understand the importance of having robust tools like GoodNotes for studying. This enhancement could indeed make it an even more valuable resource. However, it's essential to consider technical feasibility and user feedback in implementing such changes.
