This definitely feels like one of those things that should be a basic benefit of digital notes - the software obviously knows what the date and time is. Coming back to a notebook and adding a note would be a great time to automatically add "october 1, 7:13 am" or whatever someone chooses as their preference.

I can’t believe their is no time and date stop option. Simple and very basic feature. Notes plus has it. Notability has it.

Even better, pull content from an event in my Calendar. OneNote does this pretty well.

I was using Apple Notes to write diary. TIME CREATED & LAST EDIT is a function I really like on the Notes.
Time stamp would be convenient for me to look back and Also organise & manage the pages.

I think date and time idea is great! would love to see it! but please also allow options. personally, these are school notes so I don't need time stamps right now and don't want them on my notes but the date is something I really would love.

This would be a great feature, especially for when taking meeting notes and having a time stamp of when the note was taking would a time saver and knowing when the note was taken

Is there a way to ensure every note created retains the original time stamp of when the note was created? I don’t understand why there’s no setting for this. Original time stamps are crucial for documentation and development reasons. I might switch to a different app that retains original creation time stamp.
