Love my goodnotes but I do check out the competition and Agenda has a neat feature. You can tap a icon and it will insert the date or tim
Just like all the other tools, add one for date or time. Like agenda does. I am enclosing a screenshot. Thanks

How is this not even a thing...?
You should be able to create a template that picks up both automatic page numbers and date...! -

Time Stamp for each page is essential. Just found out today that there is no way of going back to ascertain the date a page was written.

But only an option. Either None, date or date and time. You could also add an option for adding page numbers on the page. It should be an element like a normal text element, so you can move it around or change the color on a single page if you want to (maybe because one page is a picture with a darker background, so you want white date instead of a black date).

This should be as an option for sure!

Yes, yes. Please add date and time AND pagination.

Seems easy. If not a date on the note itself, maybe hover or deep press to see time and date written.

A location option would also be nice.

I’ve seen requests for time stamps, and I have voted for those as well. I would also love to see a sort of versioning. I do a lot of revisions to the writing I do in GoodNotes, and being able to step back through those revisions would be awesome. To make the implementation of this easier a manual system could just duplicate the portion of the notebook file that is the page you want. These could sit in a folder and be able to be toggled between. If you wanted to really go hard it would be wonderful to be able to scrub through a pages history one ‘snapshot’ at a time, seeing them almost like layers getting turned off. This would be much harder as you’d need to be calculating the differences between each snapshot to know what to display, but it would be a great tracking tool. Love the app, keep up the good work!!!

It would be awesome if developers would allow the texts to go to the next page automatically while typing...

Dear Developer,
why are you ignoring this request since 7 years?
I‘m new to Goodnotes and was initially enamoured - but the longer I use it the more I get dissatisfied with its limitations. -

There should then also be a feature to search by this date ("Which notes did I take last month?")

And ability to review notes based on date. Super handy.

Timestamp please! Competitor products have this simple but useful function. I am disappointed that I have migrated to Goodnotes, only to lose this important functionality.

I compare this to what's available in CherryTree. Simple k/b shortcut (since I'm using Mac) to timestamp (date and time) with a few format options.

I think this idea could be expanded and generalized. Quite a bit of information could be captured automatically and saved as metadata attributes.
Then this feature request could be rephrased as to allow placeholders on the page to be populated with various metadata values. Page number, date created, date modified, as well as location are just the most obvious ones that come to mind.

And latest update timestamp for searching

For notes takers, being able to know when a note was taken would be very useful.

The ability to add Bates numbering would be terrific. It would also be a huge time-saver.

This request seems like a simple one. However, it was suggested several years ago. Why would this not be implemented. NotesPlus had the functionality years ago!
