Additional Colors in Toolbar
There should be at least 5 colors in the toolbar specially for the highlighter feature. It would help instead of tapping a color to change it and then another tap to change it back to the original. 3 colors isn't enough when used in studying notes/books.

For note taking I usually use black, red, blue, and one other color. It's difficult to keep up with a professor with change one of the colors to the other. So I wish there was another color selection in the toolbar. Also, the option for more toolbar customization would be nice. I don't use some of the features all the time, so being able to hide them would be nice

Can we get a response here GoodNotes? People have been asking for years, and you have done nothing. We just want more colors. Is this too much to ask?

It will be very useful if we could add more than three colors to the pallet.

Okay guys hear me out, everyone is literally asking for more than 3 colors on the toolbar, it's really easy to do and could improve the productivity of 100000%. So please listen to another user tired of having only 3 colors :(

I use a lot of different colors when I take notes. It helps me remember concepts better so I can color coat specific ideas. As of now, it is a real inconvenience having to click twice to change my color if it’s not already one of my 3 pre-selected colors. Sure, it’s just an extra tap, but since I change colors so frequently (sometimes multiple times on a single sentence), it ends up being really inconvenient. I know I’ve seen this recommended a couple times but I think a great thing to add would be a “toolbar” right below our edit tools. We definitely have room at the top of our notepad to include this I believe, and for me I 100% wouldn’t mind having it there. Maybe make it optional for people who want the extra screen space and don’t use much colors. But for the people who use a lot of colors (which it seems to be a lot), this would be extremely helpful.

Even on the smaller iPad Pro there is a lot of unused space, there could easily be space for 6 colors.

Even the option to have 4 colors instead of just 3 in the toolbar would be wonderful.

I would like to request more than 3 color choices on the toolbar. There are a few items that are not vita that I would love to replace with additional color choices.
Please let me know if this option is already available.

My iPad is large and there is a lot of unused space next to the color dots on the toolbar. I think there could be space for extra colors.

Can you please enable configuration of the toolbar? I need more than just 3 colors available with 1st click. Please make this happen. Especially on the large ipad Pro

I do not see why there cannot be more than 3 colors in the toolbar of the zoom window, and by extension, why there cannot be a toolbar with as many colors as the user wants outside of the zoom window. Customization is key! One of the great features of Goodnotes is the fact that you can use every color you want, making clearer notes.
So why make it so difficult to change from one color to another? I am a college student and I find the current method really slow and annoying. Let the user choose how many colors to have in the toolbar! -

With the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, this should be top priority. It's already available when you use the Zoom Window. I'd settle for 3 colors...come on guys...Having to click the color icon, choose a color and then click again to close the dialog is like something in a 10-year-old UI. You have the tech; just make it available outside the zoom window.

When pen or highlighter is selected, the possible colors should appear in the top toolbar for easy switching. In order to keep it uncluttered, only 5 colors are visible in the toolbar. The rest of the colors are available via the current method of long pressing the pen/highlighter.
