Scribble function on Apple Pencil (handwrite to text) autocorrecting capital letters
Using the Apple Pencil Scribble function to convert handwritten words to typed text in realtime works very well, but it automatically converts capital letters (particularly the first letter of a word that is meant to be capitalized) to lowercase letters. For example, writing “Energy” with a capital E changes the word to “energy” with lowercase e. It also underlines the autocorrected word in blue. Tapping or selecting the word underlined in blue gives no option to change it back to the intended capitalization. This does not happen in any default Apple app. I’ve contacted Apple support about this, and I was told to contact the developer of the app for a fix. Proposed fix: either stop autocorrecting intended capitalized words or have an option to tap on blue underlined words to change the word back to the original quickly and easily. It’s very frustrating because I have to go back to change the capitalization through keyboard so many times whenever I’m writing notes.

Yes, l am having a real problem with this. Especially when writing abbreviated terms like GSK.
Problem a - no autocapitalisation or autocorrect
Problem B - changes intentional capitals to lowercase! Drives me crazy
Problem C - often I write words and they just don't appear so sentences end up having missed words. The handwriting is always very clear so being unable to interpret it is not the problem
The zigzag method of deleting often doesn't work for me either
I love using my pencil but these things make such a difference in using it in preventing me from

Yes yes yes! This is the first time I started using the handwriting to text (scribble) after using Goodnotes for so long and this is quite annoying for me. I just want scribble to be used just like it is in every other app, I hate when it shows me the “copy, cut, paste” options. Funny thing is when you scribble in the tile bar to change the title you are able to tap on the blue dotted lined word and get the scribble options. I wish this could happen with every use.

I hope that capital letters won’t change to lowercase automatically. In any other app, it shows without any change. Especially it is note app, so the uppercase would be written very often. Also, I have hard time to expand the text box. Sometimes when I’m supposed to stretch the box with sliding the dot using pencil, it recognizes that I write a line in scribble. It’s so annoying. What about redesigning the text box like expanding by clicking the corner of box?
