I often use the automatic snap/straighten feature to straighten lines and attach them to circles.

However I get mad every time because the snap feature attaches the line at odd positions on the circles. I would expect lines to be attached at points distanced by 30 or 45 degrees.

What happens is that every time I have to edit manually the attach position of the line.

You can see from the image and the short video that the straight line is tilted.

Can this issue be fixed?

I also attach the same example with two rectangles: there is no issue there, the anchor points being placed at the corners and mid points of the sides.
