Ok, tape works on the iPad, but how do you completely remove the tape? I know you can tap it to unhide/hide what's under it, but what if I want to remove the tape completely

Darlene commented · Edit… · Delete… I would love to be able to create rounded edged shapes, elliptical shapes, and even square and oval shapes for post it notes and other shapes utilized in note taking. The washi tape feature can be expanded on and utilized for so much more, and I love the idea of the white out and implementing the disappearing and reappearing idea by tapping on the tape. I think along with the idea of creating shapes using the washi tool this would be an amazing powerful tool for GoodNotes.

I confirm, it is hidden on iPad too, just found out. Connect a physical keyboard to the iPad and press „A“-Key, the tape tool will appear.

tape exists (but is hidden?) on the mac app. press the A key for it. of course most people use the tablet app, which I don't think it is present on yet, but given it exists already on one platform I'm sure it will be added soon.

Please please please release this Goodnotes!! Notability already does it so it can’t be that hard to just make it possible

i would be delighted if you added this feature... the principle is so simple but it makes such big of a difference when revising. i am considering switching to other note taking app just because this one is missing. would be grafeful if it were considered in the near future 🤞🤞🤞

I would LOVE this tape feature in Goodnotes! It would be a game changer, like it is in notability.

tape that can be tapped to make transparent and then tapped again to ”reapply.” it would be absolutely great for students and time saving instead of having to waste time making flash cards and study cards! Just like in notability noteful! Thank you!!
