Notebook thumbnails start at the page you are currently at
Currently when you go to Thumbnails it always starts at page 1. This can be inconvenient during lectures when you don't have a lot of time to lose during the writing of your notes.
For example of you have a pdf with about 100 pages and you are currently at page 60. If you want to go back about ten pages from where you're at (so to p.50). Then you need to scroll all the way down from p.1 to p.50 instead of just 10 pages up.
This is even more inconvenient if you don't know the exact page number and thus need to quickly scan every page you scroll past to see if it's the right one.
- a good analogy for the programmers is: When you program a Datepicker, you usually program it so that when the calendar pops up, it starts at the current date.
So the same goes for the thumbnails. When the thumbnail window pops up it would be convenient if it would start at the page you're currently at.
Thanks for the consideration!

Delete the app, reinstall it. (Make sure iCloud is turned on and synced, so you get your documents back. Might want to make a hard backup just in case.)
NOPE bug came back again. This bug has been around for soooooo long, and it is soooo irritating. You fix it, then it comes back again. Computer software is not a herpes infection. Something is seriously wrong here.

Exact same thing happened to be yesterday. Made me want to cry. I teach online, and I've had so many problems and bugs with GoodNotes that I'm surprised I haven't had a brain aneurysm. Finally I got a brand new iPad, switched back to GoodNotes 5, and everything was working ok. WHY DO THINGS JUST STOP WORKING? Is there a way I can stop updates? When I saw this bug happen again, it just made me sooooo frustrated. I hate this bug.

My thumbnails have always jumped to the current page, and just today I noticed that they have started jumping to the beginning of the document. I'm not sure what changed -- maybe there was an update that happened? But I'm finding it very frustrating already and I would like it to go back to how it was before to start at the current page.

This used to be the way it worked- thumbnail view opening to current page you were on when you clicked for thumbnail view. Still does it sometimes, though rarely. Something got messed up some months ago.
