Zoom percentage
Add Zoom Percentage, please. The zoom affects the way we write and therefore if we'd like to keep our notes consistent in size and neatness. Adding a zoom percentage display would allow us to know what zoom size we prefer and always set our zoom percentages to that number.

just an option to fix zoom level at current zoom level.
Palm rejection can sometimes fail to detect my palm and think i am zooming in or out the page which can reduce productivity. -
Marius Vorster commented
Add a small box at the corner of each page to show the current zoom level. This will enable user to have the same zoom level on each page when taking notes to ensure consistence in writing style.

Yes. It is very important. I struggle a lot to keep the page at the perfect zoom level. In Notability, by default, in horizontal view, the paper completely fills the ipad screen. This should also be for GoodNotes or else a lot of people will struggle to get the perfect zoom level to fit the paper to the ipad screen completely. Thank you.
Below I have attached the default page view for both the apps. One more important thing is that the maximum zoom out level in GoodNotes is very less. I cannot get the complete view for few pages by zooming out. GoodNotes is not letting us zoom out more. This can be done in notability. Please add this feature to GoodNotes.

Yes! I really need this. I’m going to look at OneNote… just can’t be spending so much time finding the right spot. I think I’m going to number the lines on my dotted notebook and take note of how many I need to display to be in the right spot for my handwriting

This would also help when switching from portrait to landscape mode and vice versa

It would be great to set a default zoom for all PDF files. For example:
• Fit page
• Fit width
• 80%
• 90%
• 100&
• 110%
• 120%It's really frustrating to have to adjust the zoom to a readable level every time I open a document, or even return to same document after a day or tow, or accidentally rotating my iPad while reading.

Yes please add this and a default zoom setting (full page, page width, or a specific percentage).

Hi! Hope you are doing well.
Since I started using GoodNotes 5 I felt like something was missing. As time went by, I realized it was uncomfortable the lack of a zoom percentaje of the page because when writing, sometimes (in my case: every time) you zoom in or out the page to add any details you may want. But the point is that it is very hard to keep notes neat if you do not manage to get to the same magnification as you did the last time you wrote. In my case, I got tired of writing sometimes bigger and some other times smaller, so now I just write with the maximum zoom, and although my notes seem writen by an ant, at least my notebooks look neater.
I would really appreciate if you added this feature, it would change my experience taking notes and studying with this app by 180 degrees.Thank you!

Hi,
If I understand it correctly, currently only the following options are supported:
- Zoom to fit page width (double tap).
- Zoom to fit whole page (double tap).
- "Free" zooming (pinch), without any clue about the current zoom level value. These are good, but the following improvements would be great:
- Zoom percentage indicator: it would be great to have one on the toolbar. If possible, it should indicate the current zoom percent in real-time even when zooming in/out is in progress. If not possible to update real-time on the toolbar then an additional overlay value could be shown temporarily during zooming.
- A UX solution to be able to save and reuse some custom preset zoom values. The preset values could then be selected with e.g. a dropdown list, or a slider with marked sticky spots (like in MS Office), or even with additional buttons on the toolbar (although it's less preferred). By default the preset list could include "page with", "full page", and "100%". As others mentioned before, 100% zoom should mean the natural size of the paper, which would be calculated based on the paper size and the device DPI. -

There should be some standard Zoom % & a Zoom-bar to ensure even handwriting

I would strongly support this. Just to be clear: "100%" zoom should be when the 1cm on the screen matches 1cm on the virtual paper. So it would depend on the device DPI.

Please add the zoom percent which will allow those that take handwritten notes have a consistent size.

Please add this! I always have a hard time when I have to zoom out because I know that I’m going to loose my sweet spot and it’s going to take time to get back to it

My suggestion that could make this app better and make my friends actually take my advice and download this would be if you added a zoom percentage feature. If you do not know what that is, it is a feature that tells you a percentage of how much you zoomed when you zoom. OneNote has this feature, so my friends do not want to switch to this because it would do writing on goodnotes a lot neater. After all, we would know at what zoom we were writing to zoom out or zoom in. This would keep our writing consistent and more presentable. Not a lot of people like to write with the zoom feature because it is sometimes not needed. It would be amazing if it had the percentage feature because sometimes, when I am writing using it, I like zooming a lot. After all, sometimes I want my handwriting to be smaller or tighter, and it would be good to know at what percentage I was at. This feature does not have to be exactly a percentage, but I have to tell me at what "level" I was writing on to keep a consistent note writing.

I don't want to be harsh on you but you should get inspired by the OneNote MS for iPad, try it out it's free! They have great solution! They have in "view" option to rest the zoom of the page to 100% and the option of pinching the page in and out and simultaneously showing percentage of zoom. Implement that for an ordinary page (and maybe something different for "zoom box that can be turned on or of, I don't use that.. but some do.." You should definitely add that to the goodnote5

This is a genius idea. It never occurred to me but it would make the app even better.
