keyword or label for pages within a notebook
Feature to apply one or more labels to a single page of a notebook.
Similar to how email labels work within GMail.
This is a different idea or for a different use than the ‘outline’ thumbnails. The outline feature seems to serve best as a table of contents. My idea here is of a combination of a table of contents + index. I realize that more than one outline label can be assigned to a page.
Include a thumbnail screen that would show all pages associated with a label.
The thumbnail screen could be dedicated to 1 notebook [document].
Or at the documents/folders screen one could view all pages in all documents that are associated with a label.
This would eliminate the need to organize a notebook by chapters where each chapter has an outline page. And more than one label could be associated with a page.
Somewhere in GoodNotes a list of used label names would be needed.
This feature could also serve as a document index? However I think that would be best kept as a separate feature. The page ‘labels’ would be more general than the words in a notebook index.
