hot
I'm a big user of goodnotes, I've been taking notes with him since 4 years ago, it's a very good software to use, as you know, apple recently released ipad air 6 (13inch), I bought him and upgraded goodnotes 6 on this new ipad.
I realized that from my previous device using goodnotes 5 there was no heating condition.
But after about 20 minutes of writing on top of the new ipad, my ipad has been heating up really bad.
I had to stop and let the ipad cool down a bit before I could continue writing. I hope the techs can resolve this heating issue that may be due to compatibility!

Hey,
after research rebooting your ipad has worked for me and reduced the heating significantly. Please do try it:) -

I am thinking about switching note taking apps because of this issue, I definitely feel like this is removing longevity of my ipad pro because it is becoming too hot to touch. I don't have this heating issue with notability.

Exact same issue, iPad M2 Pro, 12.9, super hot in the center and all I am doing is taking notes from some readings and listening to tunes. DaVinci Resolve doesn't stress my iPad nearly as much as GoodNotes. Is it the new AI features running in the background? Can we turn them off?

Same problem ! Couldn’t even write a full page , writing halfway through my first page my iPad Air 6 started heating up mainly around the front camera module where the pencil attaches and the pencil started acting weird and wrote wired letters and after 5 minutes more it went straight dead battery was 90 % but pencil won’t respond .
Had to reboot the iPad and then it worked fine but heating and battery drain still continued.
Is it a good notes 6 problem or an iPad problem? -

I’ve been having the same issues on the new iPad, the Apple Pencil starts lagging as a result of the overheating as well making it very difficult to continue using the app
