Goodnotes 3 one could manually sort the notes, please add the function again as name and date is not enough, at university I sometimes upload allot of docs at a time and need to re order them!!

Please please please enable this feature. Also why only 3 docs per row? Used to be 4, if this could be a layout option that would be great. But more importantly let us order the notes manually, was so helpful.
I have been using goodnotes for years now, mainly for music charts, and I would always customize the order according to the set list of each live set. Now I have to try find each document on the go, which is very inconvenient for live performances.
I can't really see any improvements of goodnotes 4 over goodnotes 3, apart from stability of the app, there seams to be a few backward steps of functionality. And why did we have to pay $12 for this?! For something that should have just been a free update, and for a lesser product :(

And to combine several documents to one single document .... So when you have 3 PDFs in a Mail, you take them each one to Good Notes, but can not combine them right now ....

We need to be able to manually sort our notes. By name and date is not good enough :(

Please put this feature back! You can't say it can't be done because it was in the old app. It is necessary for those with lots of notes (such as myself - a post graduate student) to be able to organise my notes the way I need them. By name and date is not good enough. Please let this be your next update

Can't agree more... this missing feature currently keeps me from buying the app... as a student, manual sorting of documents is mandatory

As a student/teacher I need this. I have many documents of the same nature that I have to read and then prioritize. I need to be able to organize them.

Please consider to enable manual sorting since it is more like real life we put note or notebooks in an specific place not reordered by date or when accesed.

Please bring this back, I couldn't care less about iCloud but manual sorting is a requirement!
Also, blaming iCloud for this has got to be an excuse, there is no reason you couldn't...
1) Store the document positions in a separate [hidden] file that is synced to iCloud
2) Store the document positions locally and just accept that positions will not be syncedPlease get on top of this.

I've just downloaded GoodNotes 4 and cannot believe that you can't manually sort your documents. What a backward step!! Why on earth would you remove this feature??!! Come on people at GoodNotes ... sort it out!

Honestly, with the page last viewed menu as well as a direct sync to the file storage of my (dropbox) cloud storage I would be totally happy and organized

YES. What the heck?! Why can't I hold and sort based on what I want and not by the name or date?? Now I have to add numbers or letters to sort in the way I want. Get rid of this date or name sort only. Allow for custom sorting please!!

What a waste of functionality - no folder sort / arrangement capability!
This was recommended to me by someone... obviously they must be using V3!
So frustrating, not to be able to order documents into folders.
Will definitely not be recommending when such a basic feature is missing. Actually will be talking in the negative about this product.

I'm very upset that I had to pay for the app TWICE and I can't rearrange my notebooks!!! The ONLY reason I'm using 4 is because ofcompatibilty issues. I will not be recommending this to anyone until this issue is fixed!!!

I found a good work around for this. Rename your files with alpha character as the first character (A,B,C and so on) or with numerical (1,2,3 and so forth) in your preferred order. Then sort files by name and they will line up the way you choose. It might be tedious if you have a lot of files, but if you just want a few of them in the first order it is a useful trick.

The reason I used Goodnotes3, in addition to its excellent interface, was the entire bookshelf storage. I think most teachers and writers found that critical for storing papers, homework, documents, etc. This current version Goodnotes4 is a major step backwards, and makes me seriously wonder what the developers were thinking. I cannot recommend it anymore...too bad: you had a great product but ruined its usefulness for many of us.
