6 years and still not a thing. Notability has implemented this and it’s a way better workflow. It really slows me down having to pick the pen type, thickness, and colour every time I need to change. It would also be helpful to have an easier switch function between eraser types.

Having the favourites bar in Notability that can be positioned all around the page is way more practical.

haha it has been so many years I asked for this feature...I don't think they even read the uservoice. I'm happy with Noteshelf since 2011. My tip: try it. Also there not everything is perfect but the ignorance of Gootnotes is remarkable.

It is 2022, and this feature is still the most anticipated. C’mon GoodNotes, this is the only reason that keeps me from leaving notability for good.

Yes - I was thinking of exactly this feature request this morning. It’s repetitive and unnecessary to have to switch between pens and click “pen type”, then “color”, then “open width”. Would rather have a set I can define then pick between easily.

Noteability does this and it's a great feature. It's difficult to standardise pen colours and line widths without favourites. This feature being absent is a real deal breaker. Also being able to change colours and pen widths afterwards is something that notability does, you need to catch up it's only these features that put you behind the competition notability and noteshelf. Add these and you'll blow the others it of the water!

Waited for years for this, I just switched to Flexcil notes. Works much better and is a lot more convenient. Has a nicer user interface as well IMO.

I’d pay a couple bucks for a floating favourite pens panel like in Notability

After 5 years, this question is still unanswered. GoodNotes 5 team please do something. We are sure you’ll can do it better than the competition.

4 years and we still don't have this? Would also be neat if the tools can "float" and may be customized up to 10 or more tools. This feature would allow for a quick switch of annotating tools for people (like me) who uses up to 5 colors of highlighters and 2-3 pens. We can quickly swap colors with a single tap!
