  4. Improving Mouse Support

    I really enjoy using Goodnotes, but the desktop version could use better mouse support. Here are a few suggestions:

    1. Text Selection with Mouse: It's hard to select text using a mouse right now. It would help to have a dedicated "text selection" tool for mouse users.

    2. Shape Drawing with Mouse Drag: Please consider allowing users to draw shapes (like arrows, circles, rectangles) by dragging with the mouse (just like in OneNote, Google Docs, Word, and Canva on desktop)

    3. Shift Key for Perfect Shapes: Support for holding Shift to draw straight lines (horizontal/vertical), perfect shapes (circle, square), and straight highlighter lines

    As an active user of the GoodNotes web version on Windows, I truly appreciate its functionality and seamless experience. However, I've noticed that the web version currently offers only one font option, unlike the iOS app, which supports a variety of fonts and custom imports. Adding support for custom font imports or a broader selection of fonts would significantly enhance the user experience for Windows users, bringing the web version closer to the robust feature set of the iOS app. Please consider prioritizing this feature in future updates to make GoodNotes even more versatile for all users.

  10. Android

    I'm writing the Android version with the Galaxy tab.
    Why is the loading so long and not working well when I turn on the note? I can't use it because it's so frustrating. I bought the Galaxy Tab and provided the Good Note, so I used it and paid for another year, and it's so frustrating. Even if I try to use another application, I can't change it because I already worked on the Good Note, but I'm frustrated and slow to use it. Please load it quickly and upgrade the function.

  15. Dinamyc Diagrams and Flowcharts

    Ability to make dynamic diagrams just like in Excalidraw. Where you can connect arrow and objects between eachothers, move them around, resize them, add text in the middle, etc...

  16. Locally save notes files (not PDF export) & Native app

    Having the ability to save your notes files locally, like a Word or OneNote document. NOT the PDF export of them, but the original note file. This will greately improve offline support and make it a more professional app by making it compatible to NAS sync and storage and greately improve privacy concerns.

    Making a native app instead of a WebApp is a mandatory requirement for this to be implemented.

  17. Math input by keyboard

    Ability to wirte math equations via keyboard, just like in OneNote.

    OneNote uses the UnicodeMath notation, but there's also Typst notation, and the old Latex notation.

    Ability to indent text, make paragraphs, bullet points, number list, change font, TABLES. Just look at OneNote!

  19. Being able to import whole folders and not only sinlge files

    I cannot import whole folders, even though I have a yearly subscription across all platforms. It's very annoying that I can only import single files, especially since my stuff won't sync to my Windows PC. Now, I can't even import everything at once. I need that for studying, so it would be great if that could be added.
