   Hello! I'm very happy about hearing that GoodNotes ist coming for Android tablets, so we can interact with iPad users.

   Here is a suggestion list:

2. The ability to split the screen.

   In Samsung Notes, we are able to split the screen - be it vertically or horizontally - and at various sizes, so that we can look at a pdf or other notes while also working on homework or other coursework. Only Nebo that I know of is also able to do this, but not GoodNotes yet. Or if it can't be done with the Samsung or Chrome options to do so, if this could be done via inside the Goodnotes app - via tabs, that could be beneficial.

3. Surface Pen Compatibility

   Please make it so I can use the pen and use my finger without having to turn off the pen function each time. It ruins my work flow.

4. iCloud account on Windows app

   I am currently using goodnotes on iPad, iPhone and MacBook. Since I am using the app with an icloud account, it would be much more convenient if I could use my iCloud account on the windows app as well.

   You could use the Goodnotes cloud to access the notes from all platforms.

6. Slow app

   App really slows down after 2 pages of hand writing. Letters start appearing slowly, hand writing pops up instead of being smooth. And I doubt it's my tablet that is slow.

9. Ability to Import Pictures/PDF in a Notebook

   This can also be done from camera roll. As a student there's a lot of documents online so instead of importing the document into another note after another we should be able to import the documents in one notebook.
   As well as we should have the laser point feature that adapts with Samsung Pen. Why? Because it's really cool and easy to teach others with.

11. Issue with Imported Planner

    Since the BETA version of GoodNotes on Windows update, I immediately imported my digital planner because I've been dying to use it. I imported the 2023 Digital Cute Planner - Black Edition - from the World of Printables, and it imported all the pages with no issues. However, it didn't keep any of the formatting for the tabs, where if you click a tab it took you to the corresponding pages. I think it would be beneficial since I know this planner works on iOS, as my friend uses the same planner. It does make it harder to use the imported planner without the quick tab function.

12. Android version so far

    I'm glad that it's coming to other platforms, the features are lacking in the beta but i hope it'll be like the ios version I'm full release. So far I'm using it on galaxy tab s8, the pen hover feature works for the ui but writing has lots of latency and i would love to see air action support so i can map tools to it like in samsung notes, noteshelf, clip studio paint, krita etc.

    when will Goodnotes be the same application as goodnotes 6 which is really great ?
    I'll pay for Goodnotes 6 in Android not for this light current version.
    Goodnotes 6 is the complete app that I expect.
    It will be awesome and I'm waiting for update.

14. Fixed price, offline work and cross platform sync

    since this app is widely used by Students it should be availeble for a fixed price. For alot of students subscriptions are an unrealistic financial commitment. I personally dont get why android/ win users should have to keep paying for a subscription while apple users get it at a one time fixed price.

    It needs to fully work offline on all platforms and a sync between them is mandatory.

    I have been looking forward to the first official release for a while, but sadly in this state right now it is missing to many features. Atm there are free apps that work a lot better.
    Feels very beta for first release with alot of small and big bugs as mentioned by so many.

16. Features Request For Goodnotes Beta for Android&Windows

    First of all, we cannot edit when we are not connected to the internet. This is really bad. We should be able to use the application while offline.
    Also, the writing experience with the stylus pen in the android version is not smooth.

    1. You should make a trash bin.
    2. In order to use pen options more effectively, you should make a floating favorite bar and you should not set a number limit on this feature and we should be able to position this bar horizontally or vertically.
    3. There is a 100 mb file size limit when importing notes. This is really annoying. We cannot import our notes above this size because some pdfs can be several gb size. We don't want to be limited on this.
    4. For the convenience of drawing graphs, features such as dotted and dashed can be brought to the pen.
    5. You can bring pencil feature for those who like to use it.
    6. The automatic shape feature for shapes such as regular pentagon, regular hexagon, etc. does not work properly. It can be improved further.
    7. We can only add images and text boxes inside the notes. However, we should be able to add file types such as pdf, audio file. I know your IOS version has these features.
    8. Even if we select the darkest color in the highlighters, it becomes darker when we go over the place we marked. This is a bit annoying. It would be better if the color becomes darker when we go over it again in the darkest color.
    9. For your Android version, the ability to move the storage directory of the application to the sd card would be very good because we have storage problems. (This would be a really life-saving feature.)
    10. A percentage selection feature related to the zoom feature is really a very essential need.
    11. The selection tool is only for moving selected objects. It would be nice if it also offers functions such as angular rotation, copying, deleting.
    12. When importing notes, there is a bug that sometimes forces you to repeat this process. Be aware of this.
    13. A function to lock the screen zoom in and out would be nice. You should also include a reading mode and in this reading mode the zoom lock feature should be available without forcing you to edit notes.
    14. I know you have the ability to write and preview simultaneously with the audio file in your IOS version, it would be great if you could enable it for Android and windows.
    15. I don't know if it exists but I couldn't do it :) We cannot sort the note pages. This feature can be very effective in page preview.
    16. You should definitely add functions like sorting, copying, moving notes and folders. These are indispensable features in terms of organization.
    17. Page and cover templates can be imported.
    18. Especially in your windows version, you can have smoother transitions when scrolling pages. Especially when scrolling from top to bottom with the mouse wheel, it scrolls very disproportionately.
    19. You can bring the ability to export notes. This is a really important need.

    I know you are still in beta but these features are really important to make a note app the best it can be. I hope you can add these features as soon as possible.

19. Eraser while we press the button of spen

    Android tablet users are familiar with flexcil. And in flexcil, we can erase what we write until we press the button of spen if we are galaxy users. It is better to put a options that we can choose about eraser. For example, if we can select 'erase while press the spen button' and 'change mode between eraser and pen when press the button one time.'

20. Floating Toolbox, Copy text from handwriting and image editing

    I had use most of the note taking software available in market and I know GoodNotes is currently in beta stage but features like editing image i.e cropping & selecting but there is lot more like copy text feature from directly handwriting as handwriting is converted to text and also something like floating toolbox as windows device have larger screen floating box will help them to continue the flow. I hope you will soon add features like cloud backup and export notes in pdf form and others.
