  1. I need to be able to copy text from documents inside goodnotes to outside (es. Anki, word...), it's doable on ipad and mandatory to be able to study effectively from documents/textbooks

  2. I've been using GoodNotes on my laptop using a graphic tablet for a while now, and the experience genuinely isn't bad. The features work as advertised, organization is easy, but it's still at an extreme disadvantage due to it being a web app.

It hogs resources like crazy and therefore drains battery, notes take a long time to even load and display a blank white page for a while, tools don't always work correctly, I could go on. They're minor problems individually, but they start adding up and eventually become a really, really big hassle to deal with. If you…

  3. It's ridiculous that there is a way to change fonts in the mobile version and there isn't one in the Windows version, where the ability to use a nice font is much more useful than freehand writing. I just upgraded thinking it was a limitation of the free version only to find out it's a limitation of the app. I think I'll cancel my subscription at the end of the trial week.

  4. For students, it would be helpful to be able to view two pages side by side in the web version or education version (which you have not made available to homeschoolers, btw) so that you can insert a blank page within a document to work out math or science equations or create a key word outline while also viewing the original.

  5. The recently added tape feature now allows us to reveal hidden content by tapping on the tape. However, I think it would be very convenient if there were a single button to hide or reveal all the tape on a single page or within an entire notebook.

  9. If needed to customize our own like a table or something to keep track of records etc it would be handy if we could prepare a template and design it and use it over and over again instead of having to write the same thing over again

  11. It is almost impossible to use a planner using Goodnotes through windows as there is no way to jump around your document using hyperlinks. It is really frustrating and I am really not sure why it isn't a feature but working hyperlinks need to be added to the windows version of Goodnotes

  13. I'd be willing to pay the higher subscription price for the functionality that iOS gets. Feels like functionality for Windows/Android is severely limited, as in almost not worth it.

  15. These are my ideas after a quick use of good notes (Lots of desired improvements but great start)
    1) Use a slide as a way to choose the size of the pen/eraser, or at least add 2 more sizes to choose between
    2) Delete comments
    3) Use your fingers to move or resize lassoed notes
    4) Use the keyboard to type notes
    5) Shapes and Coordinate Axes
    6) Ink to Shape and Ink to Math
    7) Look up handwriting to find documents
    8) Insert PDFs, documents, or images to write on
    9) Record audio from class
    10) Better exporting i.e…

  16. I am honestly surprised that many features from the ios was not implemented into this android beta version.

There is soo much talk all over the digital planning community of how goodnotes is soo great yet it is not much compared to androids penly or samsung notes.

    Missing features in android

    -file import
    -hyperlink capability
    -pen case capability
    -color picking and opacity
    -shapes with fill in availability
-image or sticker organization and import
    -custom fonts for text
    -Notes and settings cloud synchronization

The list goes on and on what on earth happened? The apple version seems to have everything I…

  17. Samsung tablets themselves, and other andriod apps, support handwriting to text with the S-Pen. Goodnotes for iOS already supports the feature, so the functionality/coding for this already exists in the app. A large reason people use Goodnotes is to make notes easier to read and study. Currently, the inability to do this, despite the coding already existing in an app version and it existing on other apps, is crazy.

If you offer it for iOS, and other andriod apps support it, there isn't a reason to continue to neglect to add it to the iOS app.

  18. It would be great to have the option of exporting individual pages of a notebook instead of having to export the whole thing.

Also, the text tool could have more fonts.

The app is lagged and the writing is slow.

  20. I suggest to remove the 'add comment' function. It's very annoying as it always pop out when I'm writing notes
